  1. Anyone ever use them? I bought some for making me some jigs since I couldnt get the mustad ultra points for making some shakey heads
  2. Will do. Thanks Glenn
  3. Dang BIG M, those are freaking awsome. Looks great. Onesock, awosome looking plastics. Really like the frogs.
  4. Senkosam instructions on 2 piece mold making http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/pouring_plastic_worms.html
  5. You can do that with the silicone mold like DP is talking about or the plaster mold. I have a couple 2 piece frog molds that i have made. Actually threw one away the other day. Somewhere through the tutorials on here SenkoSam has a tutorial that shows you how to make a 2 piece pop mold.
  6. Bondo is easier and there is no epoxy. I havent used the bondo enough to know yet of durability and heat strength. Another forum member told me about it. He uses it all the time. The problem with POP is the epoxy will break/flake off and it will have to be re-epoxied. I dont know if you can make a 2 piece mold with bondo but you can with plaster. I've just started with the bondo but so far I like it better. I dont get the air bubbles in it like I do with plaster when making a mold.
  7. if you want cheap the plaster of paris is the way to go. About 8 dollars at wally mart for 10lbs. and then you will need some good epoxy like devcon.
  8. Wish I could paint like that. Very very nice.
  9. I bought some but havent used them yet. Maybe I need too. I bought them for c riggin.
  10. skeeter repellant. ;D One good thing about night fishing is you wont get a sunburn, no jetskiers. Night fishing will make you a better "feel" fisherman
  11. I use the .018 that barlows sells. I'd rather lose a few mor jigs then a few nice bass.
  12. here are some materials you can use plaster of paris and epoxy durhams water putty bondo resin So far I really like the bondo over plaster. I havent poured it much but its easier to make and less time consuming. It is more expensive though.
  13. Thats the one I really like. I also have some Lure craft scents and yum which are good too. I dont think they always make a difference but in some instances they have worked real good for me. Sometimes they help keep the skunk out of the boat.
  14. The dd22 is one of my favorite cranks. Just about the only one I throw for main lake points. How I fish it: Fan cast a point. I crank the bait as slow as possible but to where it still dives to max depth and I can feel the bait hitting the bottom or the bait wobbling. Once you learn this bait you wont throw much else in the hot summer on points.
  15. that makes alot of sense. I'm going to have to try it too.
  16. its a harmless norther water snake. I saw about 5 of them. http://www.umass.edu/nrec/snake_pit/pages/nwater.html
  17. shooo weee, had me all worried up. Good thing RM is still here.
  18. I shoot quite a bit. Probably 1-2 times per week. Rifles, shotgun, and pistol. I do shot quite a bit. But anyways. I agree with him too. The only way I would ever unholster it would be if it was a life threatening instance. Seriously hope I never have to. I'm not a person that feels I need to show it off because all it will do is get me in trouble.
  19. I was dreaming of actually catching a fish.
  20. agressive fish or late spring/summer/early fall I typically use a bigger jig/trailer combo 3-3.25 sluggish fish colder water smaller finesse jig small trailer 2"-2.75 Thats typically how I do it.
  21. good to hear from ya. Stay safe.
  22. I'm not skinny just thin boned. ;D Lots of decisions here. I need to go look at more guns.
  23. 4" tube, t rigged. If that doesnt work might as well go home.
