  1. I've been doing little cheaper things to help but I've pretty much done all of those. Now I'm at windows and doors and obviously attic insulation. Good to hear how much your saving.
  2. Nope I wasnt being sarcastic. I've been doing alot of research and for my area I need a R49 I believe. I will have to look again. It came out to about 15" of insulation and I only have about 4 :. I wish there was a way to do the walls but it wouldnt be cost effective. It would meen new siding or drywall. sending pm Thanks guys
  3. I think west coast custom baits has them.
  4. Thats why I went with them. I like the multi species aspect.
  5. THats awsome. She is definately a keeper. I got Direct not to long ago. That about all I have watched for the last 2 weeks is the NFL channel. Its awsome.
  6. I like both teams alot but Chicago has Gossman so my vote is for the chargers.
  7. bushnell makes a one. I think its called the yard pro 400 or something like that its about 150 bucks. I've had a range finder for the last 5-6 years. One of the best things I have bought.
  8. Who is going to win? I'm going wit the Colts The winners win a prize.*** *** To laugh at the losers ;D
  9. Now you are getting complicated :-/ I think the only way to fix that issue is completely design the whole top portion. The problem I would see with it is the plastic balling up on the hook then you miss fish. If you want we/you can come up with something. I'd be interested in that bait too. A place I fish a 6" beaver style would be awsome. BTW I think I might have just thought of a solution depending on how thick your talking about. I have a single sided beaver mold. If I join them together it will give a slightly larger profile then a regular beaver. The problem will lie in the appendages and getting them centered on the bait.
  10. Oops, I just noticed you said 3600 not 3700. Anyway, I dont know if a falcon and 3600 are the same size. Actual box might be but the hinges might cause a problem.
  11. I guess I dont understand. :-? I have a plano bag that holds 5 3700. But I just replace one of them with the falcon box and have a little extra space on the sides since the 3700 is just a bit bigger. The falcon imo holds just as much and better. I would look at possibly just reorganising tackle somehow to fit it. Its the best box for little doodads that I have ever seen. I never found a way to keep hooks and other accessories from slidding around in a 3700
  12. Yes, Buy a falcon hook organizer and never look back. You will be wishing you'd done that years ago.
  13. Well it could be done. The problem is the taper of the bait. But here is how you would do it. 1 Buy some beavers or similiar style you like 2 take one as the lure you will modify 3. use the other ones to cut out sections of the ribbed body and match them all up. 4. Glue all of the pieces together to where it gives you a good outline 5. Make a 2 piece plaster mold and cut vent holes 6. Epoxy the inside of the mold 7. pour in your plastic Thats how it would be done. Btw it is an excellant idea. 8-) PS Senkosam is probably one of the best at modifying lures that I have seen. He has some awsome creations.
  14. well guys, I'm in the process of making my house more energy efficient. I'm tired of paying outrageous heating/cooling bills. So I climbed up in the hot attic and noticed I have a ton of insulation. : The heigth of a 2x4. So I put in some soffit vents for step #1. Next will be the baffles So that leaves me with this question. Have any of you guys blown in insulation before. Any tricks or pointers?
  15. Beer Brats Angelina Jolie Those 3 make a great combination for a tailgate party. ;D
  16. I had a bad feeling last night. I thought I lost a finesse worm mold and a beaver mold last night. took me 1 hr to find those suckers. :-?
  17. Right time of year you could do that on St Clair or Rainy lake real quick. Probably in 2 months easy. Nothing to catch 100+ per day if the feed is on.
  18. Well last night I did some R&D. The zillion was nice but I just didnt really care for the way it wound. If I tightened up the drag and spool tension knobs where I like to fish them. The reel seemed to grind a bit just like my TDX and the handle turned harder Chronarch D- I really like how smooth it is. I cranked down the drag and tension knob some and no grinding and stayed just as smooth. The drag seemed to be very good too. Good and strong. I really liked the reel but it wasnt that comfortable in my hand MG- sweet little baby here. The size fit my hand well, light, very smooth. I wish it had all the new features of the chronarch D, but I think this is the one I'm going with. RW, your not helping the situation. I cant swing the core. I need to replace too many reels. BTW, someone said something about a steez. I fingered that one for a bit. Didnt like it at all. I thought the zillion was nicer, thats not even figuring in price. Just my opinion.
  19. Never had a problem with them. I've broke about 5 loomis rods. I feel 4 of them were my fault and maybe the 5th. Dont worry about it. Topics like this just start some complaining. Fletchero's post Exactly what I think. High end anything for the most part needs more attention then low end. High end is usually cutting edge and made of more delicate parts and require more care and attention.
  20. This is another thing I've been investigating all day. : I'm at the same price 250 I thought I wanted a core till I saw the price. I'm looking at the Chronarch 50mg New chronarch Zillion The mg is light but based off older technology unlike the new chronarch. Might not matter much. Both I'm sure are great reels. I like the size of the 50mg and the look and feel over the new chronarch. But the zillion seems to me so far as a better buy. I will be doing hands on research tonight.
  21. I guess I'm a bass too. LOL. I go for the nearest and easiest. But that would have been my answer too. Not all lakes have crawdads, no do all ponds have shad. I believe in the easy meal theory. Least amount of calories burned to catch the meal.
  22. I mentioned that to her, but she said "Just take the picture and get over here." LMAO,...So you DO have a camera, lol ;D No it was hers. I heard go to justforavid.com and you can see the vid that she downloaded. This whole topic is killing me.
  23. So true. ;D
  24. sweet!!!!!
