I'm going to try and answer for both sides of this and also stay within the topic from my experiences. Along with trying to explain the rationale of why. BTW Ok I'm weird for paying attention to details and patterns but it makes me alot better of a hunter.
All animals have patterns. Doesnt matter what animal. Take a yote for example. He will live in an area untill the food source is deminished. Once this is done he will move on. This is where a farmer/rancher will get hammered. For example chickens that lay my egss I eat. If I started out with 12 and one night a yote gets one. I'm down to 11 obviously. Within 2-3 days I will be down to 10 chickens. If another yote or a mother is feeding her young the #'s of my chickens will decrease faster. Within approx 2-3 weeks I will no longer have chickens. Then I go hungry. There is only one way to take care of the situation. Trapping and relocating is a feel good for some, but actually a joke. Either you pass on the problem to someone else or the critter dies from starvation during the relocation and surroundings.
This pattern is the same for all varmints I have run across. They are very easy to pattern once you have an initial understanding and incident. This yote that niksfishinmom is brave because he is out during the day. Most yotes run around here at night or very early or late.
Its very difficult to explain something like this that is just a way of life for some and an unfamiliar ground for others.
You aint a kiddin. I've seen a couple of them. They typically are not shy at all. Some wonder where their pet ran off too :-?
Yotes like chickens in the coop or the ones that run free in the yard. Some of the brave ones run down new born cattle if there are enough yotes in the area. 1 dead yote or $500+ calf. Tough choice there.
Nice pics btw.
What?
Ya gotta sneak in a fishing trip or two, smallmouth season is just about to start up!
8-)
I'll sneak a couple in here and there. With this cold front coming in and all the rain this weekend might be a good one. I hope the water temp starts dropping back here soon.
Never doubted your wisdom Burley. Agreed the whole time. Any QB that steps back to the same spot every time and never moves is in for a world of hurt. All the D has to do is run to his comfort spot and its hammer time. You would think he would watch some of the greats and see how the move in the pocket and roll outside to throw. I think he would make a good College QB but he just isnt ready for the big times.
Well, not many of us like to admit defeat nor a skunk. But I managed to skunk it up saturday. I fished for 5 hrs. Well, reword that. Casted for 5 hrs. Got pretty darn good at casting. Nothing. Not even a nibble. So here is my skunked outings post. Last one you will see this year. I'm going hunting. ;) ;D
I agree. The bears are too good of a team for him. He really needs to go. I believe McNaab would be a good asset to that team. Well with that said just about any other QB.
For you dark beer lovers give this one a shot. Right now its my favorite beer on the market. MMM MMM. I found a handy six in shop n save and thought it would look good in my fridge. Well it didnt last long. One of the best beers I've ever had. It goes real good with some grilled brats and budweiser bbq sausce.
Nope dont drink american wine, I didnt think I liked wine till I went to Italy. Tried it and didnt like it. I've got an Italian sister in law. They have the good stuff. I dont know any of the names but its good and I usually end up drinking too much of it. I do know they dont have good beer unless its an import.
I prefer beer unless its an Italian wine.
as long as its oil based not all oil based scents react the same either I have found out. Water base will bubble, pop, and possibly explode plastic everywhere. I would just add it to your bag of pours. It will soak into the plastics enough anyway.
If your going to start pouring your own I highly suggest going to TU and reading a bunch of those articles. Especially the sticky on Newbies. Those guys taught me almost everything I know about it.
Anyone else like this bbq sauce? I tried it about a month or 2 ago and its got to be one of the best I have ever used. Awsome stuff in my opinion.
For the record I dont work for AB.
I should be on thier prostaff. LOL ;)
