Not a back reeler here. Tried it a couple times with the same results. A huge mess. Gave up on it and have never had a problem breaking off fish or losing fish. I acutally lose more fish on a baitcaster then spinning rod. Figure that one out. BTW the actual #'s of lost fish is real low.

not last time but the time before that it was a beaver bite and crank bite. I'm hopping that since cooler weather has moved in I can catch more on spinnerbaits, cranks, and some topwater again. Going sunday hopefully.

Just a question; What if the boys are leaning the other way? THat is why there is a groove in the front so you can lift and flop into a comfortable resting position. Its got a built in stabilizer and anti sway groove.

I'm not sure on the Cavitron but I know buzzbaits are a good one. One of my favorites is a chatterbuzz(local brand I think) and the other is a Accent double buzz I honestly dont see why a Cavitron wouldnt be a good one. See if you can find a zara pooch. Its about 2" long spook. Or a baby chug bug is another real good one for smaller fish.
