  1. I'm kinda partial. My favorite color is probably black/blue in stained to muddy water. Pbj in clearer water. I've been fishing some of the image colors and those are quickly making positive gains. Favorite trailer is a Joesjig trailer or a zoom lil critter craw Favorite retrieve. Watch how a crawfish moves across the bottom and that is what I try to duplicate. Its all in the rod none in the reel.
  2. I'm kinda like RW on this. If something doesnt run right I will tweek it a bit. Seems like the ones that work the best have been beat up on rocks and stuff. Right now I'm in the process of learning how to make my own cranks. So I guess that is another way I will be tweeking them. I've got a great mentor. 8-)
  3. Probably Fourbizzes rod since he shops there so much. ;D That is gross though.
  4. 2.5" piece of small wire and wrap it around a couple times. Twist the wire together a couple times and bam wire tied jig.
  5. very nice. now you are hooked!
  6. Nice fish dude.
  7. some dandies there. Nice catchin.
  8. If your going to target both of them at the same time I would say a tube. Probably green pumpkin. Next would be a craw/jig combo or just a craw on a shaky head. then a senko
  9. Thats crazy. Glad your ok. The last pic is great.
  10. it looks like a showboater that just got schooled by lack of experience. Once I started watching the video, I could tell the guy couldnt drive a fast boat. Just looked like an accident waiting to happen. Hit the wake and I knew he was done. Never slowed or never adjusted the motor. Full bore the whole time.
  11. I'd go for catching some little fish like you do. Nice Bass FC.
  12. My favorite is a zoom 6" green pumpkin lizard. Works everywhere. T rig or C rig is how I mostly fish them. Sometimes on a shaky head.
  13. Wow. Nice trip ladies. I think your daughter is a spittin image of you. 8-)
  14. I finaly figured out what the hardest water to fish is. Flash Flood water, when the water is dropping at a fast pace. First time I ever encountered fishing this water. I could actually watch the water level drop in the lake while we were fishing. In 5hrs before I was there the lake dropped about 18-24"s. While i was there it dropped about 4"'s. Nuts I tellya nuts. Whats the hardest water you have ever fished?
  15. Thanks. I called him in. Used a buddies hand made slate call. Quite fun morning. Yeah lots and lots of rain here lately. The creek I cross to hunt is usually about 2-4' deep. Yesterday and today it was almost over my knee boots. about 18". So the turkey got a bit wet along with me.
  16. Here is my latest outting. Got this one this morning. Beard was 9.5"'s long. Wow I love turkey hunting. He's a little wet because we had to cross a creek. I know its not a bass, hopefully that will be this evening.
  17. they are a good worm. My buddy fishes them alot but usually uses them on a shaky head.
  18. I agree. I've seen alot smaller boats out there then 18ft. Just use sense.
  19. Dinks. ;D Really nice fish Matt
  20. IMO soft plastics would win by far. Why, see Catts post. SP is too broad of a statement.
