  2. here is a pic of a 7.5lber reproduction I had done years ago. Well probably about 10 yrs ago now. Kinda crappy pic too.
  3. Try and get ahold of Jigman. I know he has been doing alot of remodeling but I think he fishes Bull alot. He might be able to help you out.
  4. I feel your pain Fourbizz. I'm in the same boat. I have a trimmer head for my razor alot like the one Muddy posted. Works pretty good but if the hair grows without being trimmed often it gets real itchy.
  5. There I modified the topic so Tin wouldnt look. I bet he does. ;D
  6. Yup first time. I've got a good mentor though. Thanks Big M.
  7. I was cleaning up some stuff and found this to my suprise.
  8. So hows it look for a first timer?
  9. this will probably sound like a smart mouth answer but here goes. Go to a tackle store and look at all the different brands. Look at the lip angle to bait and the lip length. Typically the deeper the bait dives the longer and is closer to the center line of the bait. Shallower are more toward 90 deg angled toward the center line of the bait.
  10. Gas is nice for the speed but in no way will it ever beat charcoal. Charcoal will never beat the smoker. Just the way it is. Some things like brats and hotdogs. Fish on a cedar plank for gas. but when it comes to ribs or real meat your wasting them if you gas them.
  11. I've used the mega strike. I like it. No complaints here.
  12. LOL, hate when that happens.
  13. very nice Big M.
  14. Wow, nice pictures. I agree it takes a great photographer. The boss lady is really great at taking pictures. You guys have seen mine. I'm not so good. LOL. She can take some shots that you would see in magazines. Quite talented for sure. She has an old 35mm camera that needs a bit of updating. Hince the topic. I've been wanting to find her a good hobby and I think this would be a great one for her since she loves doing it and is really good at it. Plus I could take her fishing and she could take my pictures. Instead of me and no talent doing it. ;D That Nikon D40 I did look at. Good camera from what I know. The D5k is just a few steps up and is a new version. I also looked at the D60 which was between the two. You guys are helping a ton. Thanks.
  15. nice fishing dude.
  16. thanks guys, sorry about the 35mm comment. Thats about the size of the camera I was wanting but digital. Like Micro said film is dead. Dont want one of those. Very nice pictures Glenn. Thanks for the site Bigfruits. I've got alot of compairing to look at. One that stuck out to me is the Nikon D5000 with the SLR. What are some of the main features that are most important? As you guys can tell I'm not in the camera profession.
  17. Exactly what I was thinking. Little baitmonkey celebration. ;D
  18. is it a clear coat epoxy or powder paint THere is no way around scuffs and scratches. Any paint known will do it. The powder paint is just alot tougher then anything else out there.
  19. I've been researching cameras and need some help. I'm looking for 35mm that takes great pictures. Price range 4-600 bucks. Right now I have found the Olympus 590UZ which seems real nice and has some good features. Cameras uses will be for: Wildlife and scene pictures Fishing Nascar Racing People pretty much anything else. If you have better suggestions please post up. Thanks
  20. I bought some 10" anacondas. I'll be breaking them out soon. Real soon.
  21. Excellent question....Burley, please explain. Thats why there isnt any footprints in the other chair. Burley carried the 2 chairs and his wife got stuck with the keg.
  22. Alot of times I will not use a light. I will fish in the dark. This will make you a better fish by feel fisherman. I think Chris had a post on this very subject of color not to long ago. It was a real good read.
  23. I've caught extremely tiny fish on a 10" worm before. Typically though it weeds out the 12- size fish. I generally catch 14+" fish off them.
