  6. I've finally decided on what to do. I want to run a little contest with everyone thats going on the Road Trip. So here is the details. Contest will be May 2,3,4th Who ever catches the biggest fish on one of my lures will win $25 worth of jigs or spinnerbaits. The rules are simple and we are going by the honor system because I want all the fish released as soon as possible and unharmed. Fish Smallmouth or Largemouth only Please take a picture of the fish with the lure in its mouth and another picture of the weight of the fish on a scale to where I can see the weight of the fish. I want this to be fun and see what kinds of fish are caught. I need some new pictures for my website and all pictures will be put up on my webpage.
  7. Nice Catching!!!!
  8. Na, I caught her off a GP cosmic worm and one of my Zenith shaky heads.
  9. I fished my sample spool of Tuf Line for about 2 hrs on Saturday and about 1 hr on Sunday. I was throwing a GLX BCR 855 with a 3/4oz black blue jig. The line is smoother and quiter then any braid I've ever put through those Recoil guides. Casting was a breeze and the line laid pretty flat on the water with no curl. I really liked this feature of the line. Keeping feel with the jig was great as any braid. While fishing the rocks I did run into abraision issues. I broke my original jig off on a hook set after fishing for about 30 min in the rocks. I must have drug it across some sharp rocks and did not catch the cut/wear on the line. Overall, I like the line. Its a good braid.

  15. All 4 of us fished for over an hour with the clouds above us. Nothing. Then the sun came out and in about 15 minutes it was on. My niece caught her first bass ever on a Rage Craw Hard Candy. This lady came off of a cosmic worm and a zenith shaky head in green pumpkin. She was one fat momma. I caught about 12 fish then the clouds came back and the bite shut down. PS, Sorry for dressing up so nice for the pictures.
  16. I took the wife and nieces out to fish today. Who would have thought she would have shown up.
  17. For me it works ok but there are better options out there. The Brush head is my absolute favorite for trees!
  18. This very thing happened to a buddy and I last weekend. I tried the rogue, Crank, etc. The lure we ended up with was a shaky head with a grub for my bud and a rage craw shaky head.
  19. Get use to it!!! It happens to me all the time now. Any more I consider it a successful trip when she catches more then me. Congrats to you both on a great trip.
  20. Same here. A mid road BC or Spinning real is a good real.

  22. I'll be testing the spool I received this weekend.
