  1. If you hit it on a weekday, it's not too bad.
  2. Unless you went to the NWDC office in either Newark or Newfound land and plopped down 50.00 for the permit..................you don't have it.
  3. Do you have the NWDC fishing permit? That's where I spend most of my time.
  4. Ex-Bergen here, Darlington pond in Ramsey !
  5. I live in the corner of Morris Co.,where morris, sussex, and passaic meet. I got the Newark Watershed reservoirs in my back yard, Hopatcong 10 minutes away, in other words, no shortage of fishing waters, but when I have to catch a LMB, the little slimy no name pond down the road never dissapoints. Got 5 out of there last night in about 20 minutes, no monsters, but bass none the less.
  6. You have to actually leave your boat at the reservoir, chained to a tree......I kid you not! Ok I guess, if you got an old aluminum laying around. I actually had those passes and had friends who left there boat there. A big storm came through one night, next time they went up to go fishing (driving from Jersey), a large tree had fallen over and crushed the boat LOL! :'(
  7. Haledon Reservoir?
  8. Threw my old Eagle into the reservoir at the end of last season and need to replace it. Anybody got feedback on the 525?
  9. Haven't been down that way in years !
  10. Farington Lake, lower Middlesex Co.
  11. Going camping with my son's Bot Scout troop this weekend...anyone have any intell on it or the area?
  12. As an ex-Bergen Co. guy, my early season shore fishing 1-2 punch were, Ramapo Reservation: the lower lake gives up a lotta bass to rubber worms. Darlington Co Park: Loaded with big bass, as it gets hotter, it gets covered in a veg mat, but floating worms and Sluggo's worked on top of the mat, bring explosive suprises
  13. Re-spooled with spiderwire, everyone fished today at the pond down the road (while dad worked) with no issues...........problem solved
