A lot of people around here also like to use the flipping weights for their Carolina rigs. I bought one the other day and lost it after fishing for about 20 minutes.
That has been my only endeavor into Tungsten weights. I love the sensitivity but I still catch a whole lot of fish slinging lead.
Bluegill are vicious. If they could grow to the size of bass they would be the number one sport fish. ;D
That one you caught is good eatin' size. I would like to have me a few of them.
I used to play it quite a bit.
I always ended up getting shot...a bunch.
People always complained about how bad it hurt, but when you are in a huge shoot-out and your adrenaline is going, you sometimes don't notice when you've been hit.
I miss playing.
I cast one handed most of the time. The exceptions are big cranks, the few swim baits I have thrown and the Carolina rig.
Practice in the yard. This is how I learned how to cast effectively using the usual methods (overhand, sidearm, etc.).
Also, its going to be nice to catch Zona on Friday nights.
I will never understand why ESPN aired all their fishing shows when their general audience is out fishing.
