  1. Yes you can, I have them, they can even Polarize them.
  2. I do use them as a jig tip but have T-Riggged them. Seem to work well T-Rigged flipping in weeds. Use a 1/8 oz weight they will hit on the fall. Also have worked well dragging an sandy small rock bottom.
  3. The one thing I will note on the Little N is it is easy to over power. Best to fish slow on light line.Action is great and finishes are one of the best.
  4. For your $200.00 price range you can not go wri=ong with the Citica. You may want to look at pairing it with a St Croix Mojo. Great rod for $ 90.00. Will take you a bit over but that would be a sweet outfit.
  5. Good job, I hope I find that spot when on down on the Raod Trip.
  6. Sorry to hear that, he will always be with you when you fish that river. Smiling down when you land one. God Bless
  7. I have Hot Spots plugged into my Garmin from my Map Source Program. Might not catch fish but at least I will find my way back to the launch. I can not wait.
  8. If it is their lips, at least that is what I will call them, I would say it is from eating crayfish. I have seen lips bloodiied up from picking crayfish off of rocks much like a males tail during spawn. But the whole mouth? Who knows.
  9. I finally had the opportunity to get out yesterday 3-8 on the open water first time this year. The lake we fished has had the ice off for about 7-10 days so we were not expecting much. Weather was horrible on and off driving rain but the good part it was 55 degrees out so we did not freeze. All and all not a bad day I hooked up on 5 and my partner 3. Water temperature was 44 -47 degrees. Never really found a pattern. Hooked up on crankbaits, T-Rigged Brush Hog and Wacky Style Senko. As long as you worked it slow you had a chance. At least was able to get the boat out of storage and complete a shake down cruise.
  10. Wow! That seems pretty harsh. Although KVD Line & Lure Conditioner is a sponsor, I am not beholding to them or any others. So with that said, I strongly suggest trying the treatment. I find that KVD reduces memory, making all lines more manageable. This product also reduces backlash and makes them easier to untangle. Casting distance may be improved, but that feature is not noticeable to me. Technically, KVD Line & Lure Conditioner forms a molecular bond with the line. The product does not was off. Finally, this conditioner is water based and environmentally friendly. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior I agree I seen tremondous benefits, I even spray on as I respool. Seems to get a more even lay during re-spooling. I have used both Blakemore and KVD. Both are good. KVD seems to last a bit longer.
  11. Good luck, I too went in the Navy right after HS. It launched my career. Heads up and stay safe.
  12. I spray it on the line levelwind and guides.
  13. Be like Ike use Megastrike!
  14. I tried this along with my fishing partner last year. We bought it at different locations so I am sure the lots were different along with test. Both had problems breaking at hook set. I sent an e-mail to the manufacturer and recieved no response. Evolution is not as good as CXX.
  15. Looks like it may give a Ika a run for it's money. First time I seen one, Tackle Tour has a review.
  16. Loud rattles are definitely the way to go in stained water. Keep in mind that the rattles will get their attention. I found in clear water or when they are actively feeding rattles have less effect.
  17. You guys sure are lucky I have 3 BPS within 45 minutes of my home and we had no Bass Pros, just walleye pros.
  18. Too many to list but the Manns Minus 1 sure has caught me a lot of fish. If I go deeper I sure like a Norman.
  19. On a spinning reel I would not go much larger then 10 lb braid. A Med Fast Rod would be a good choice for soft plastics.
  20. I use them also as trailers but at times I will also T-Rig them.
  21. I just can not imagine being able to use one rod for all techniques. I would have to agree with RW on this one. I would need at least three different outfits. 6' 6" Med Mod rod. 6' 6"MH Fast both baitcasting and a nd a 6' 6" Med Fast Spinning outfit as a minimum.
  22. Mike seems like a true professional, obviously very focused seeing how he did not buy into the practical joke question.
  23. No can do, I live in Illinois.
  24. Wow that's disgraceful.
