  1. Sorry to hear that. Glad your doing better.
  2. X2 but the Prodigy is a fine reel also. I have both and am satisfied with them.
  3. I guess they kind of got wet for nothing but I would not have taken a chance. You suppose they went and had a beer?
  4. Yes sometimes it is the whole package. How many take the chance when given? Beauty comes in all forms.
  5. Wow CJ and Nikki way to go!
  6. And on my back Great (or should I say sick) minds think alike. What do you expect from a cheesehead and a White Sox fan. ;D Come on I am sure he is also a White Sox fan, can't be a Cubs fan afterall. Sick minds, I am not sure I understand?
  7. My wife told me about her and I just had to give a listen. Needless to say I was blown away and just had to share for anyone who had not heard about her. She can sing! http://www.susanboyleblog.com/
  8. Not much different due to weight. In that small of a differance the trailer will effect fall rate more, IMHO. In a football jig 1/8 will make very little differance except in windy conditions, 1/8 may help, again IMHO.
  9. Sam you must be a Sox Fan like me, I think that's Ozzie!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew I should have punched you in the junk when I had the chance. Why for mistaking a Cubs cap for a Reds cap? What do you expect from a Sox fan? Maybe I shpuld ask? What do you mean by junk? That sounds painful in a good sense.
  10. I have owned both. I still own a Compre if you want a great crankbait rod try a 6'6" Avid Med Mod. This is what I use and have for the last 5 years. I just can not bring myself to try another.
  11. Hey Cart- I think my dink beat yours. 4" if you stretched it. Seems a little personal there CWB. ;D Now you bring it up! I shared a room with him for the week and slept soundly.
  12. This is absolutely a great fishery. On Monday it was windy with sleet and rain. Not the best conditions even for the most seasoned fisherman yet we still caught 30+ fish that day. As i would not consider the week we spent there prime time I an not wait to get back at a prime time. It was unbelievable the amount of fish that we caught in the 2.5 to 4.5 lb range, granted that more were in the 2.5-3 lb range but catching is catching. If you catch nothing rest assured a 6 lber is not possible. Even more important was the time spent with a bunch of great folks. This experience in itself I will cherish the rest of my life. Thanks guys for allowing Old Uncle Leo the chance to be part of you week, I will never forget you folks.
  13. Done, good luck in school
  14. It is I would expect the price to increase next year.
  15. Me neither.... and I'm serious. Here you go Matt, all you want to know.http://www.baseballhalloffame.org/hofers/detail.jsp?playerId=121665
  16. That reel will not work on any rod. Kent shoot me a PM so I can give you my address, my scrap guy comes once a week. I will dispose of it FREE OF CHARGE!!!!
  17. Sam you must be a Sox Fan like me, I think that's Ozzie!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. All of my fish came on a Green Pumpkin Jig, Green Pumpkin Rage Tail Craw and dipped in JJ's Chartrese craws only full length. When weather was stable they were pulled off a 5 ft ledge adjacent to 12-15 ft of water. When the wether cooled (front conditions) they were in 12-15 feet. In the late afternoon we found some in the back of the bays in 2-5 feet. Did not find many on the banks. Some were found on laydowns mostly in Sugar Bay. They seemed to be staging or course that can all change by the time you get down their. I was fortunate as the afternoon of the first day we met Big-O who prefished, he put us on time and we toke it from there.
  19. For as DD22 I would use a 10-12 lb mono, IMHO
  20. http://www.snaptaillures.com/ Are these what you are talking about?
  21. It will never be the same rod if you fix it with that much missing.
  22. I'm telling you the poor thing is just lost, send it home.
  23. I have both STX and Curado 100D. I love both for differnt applications. It is true that the STX is hard to adjust and stay adjusted when casting cranks. To solve the problem I use the STX for jigs and T-Rigs as normally where I fish I like the higher drag rating the STX has. The Curados I use for cranks, spinnerbaits or anything I will do multiple casts on as I find the brake is much easier to keep adjusted. In a nut shell both have a use and I love both.
