  4. You know eventually he will be pushed in! A monkey can not help but monkey around.
  5. Boy that's kind of old isn't it? Oh well Happy Brithday
  6. Andy Reed should do well with him. He has the ability to work through mist controversy based on what he has been through over the last 5 years both with the Eagles and his personal life. Best of luck Andy!
  7. Your not suppose to mention Shimano but yes I agree.
  8. On most baitcasters, just two or three. There is a shaft support bearing on the palm side, another shaft support close to the spool and before the pinion, and on some reels the bearing under the cast control knob comes into play. No need for 10 bearings to cast then.
  9. CWB asked for Shimano not to be mentioned so thanks for the opening. Seriously no way if your talking about the Curado 200 that you have. Less drag of course versus the STX but that reel is sweet. Sorry Ken. I knew you were laying in the weeds waiting for an opening to pounce. No worries. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, however misguided. ;D Sorry Uncle Leo & CWB, although theres never a mention of the curado being better, it clearly states "I may" sorry again guys. That's okay we all know the Curado is better. Like Sox over the Cubs I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Larger profile- slower sink rate.
  14. That's awesome here is a link. http://www.berkleybigfish.com/PhotosMore.php?picID=8576
  15. I never broke a one piece playing a fish but have broken a 2 piece. Closing on doors and windows do not count. Based on this I feel a one piece is stronger. Each break was at the joint.
  16. What do you expect? With a belly like that you have to expect health concerns.
  17. My fishing partner has a Pink Wiggle Wart. He embarasses me every time he pulls it out becasue he catches more fish then I do. Go figure
  18. I wonder, how many bearings truly come into play when casting? Just so many can be mounted on a spool. Also how much drag is truly needed to successfully land a fish. I wonder if the power and action of the rod and test of the line needs to be considered. Seems to me that there are many fine reels out there with 5 bearings and 11-12 lbs of drag that perform well, these included.
  19. Premier, the brake is much easier to set. At least that is what I found between my STX and Premier.
  20. They put cabbage in eggrolls, I pity your wife.
  21. Always throw back something with a slow sink rate just in case. Realize we are working with highly unpredictable creatures here. Some we win and some we lose. At least we have the ability to rationalize.
  22. I know you fish KY Lake. Do all of your productive ledges (I know that is a relative term) have cover? Are there any that you have that are barren, but still produce? Do you bother if there are no baitfish? It is a funny thing, I have caught fish when I have seen nothing on my graph. Flat, featureless bottom, no pods of baitfish, no fish. Maybe I do not how to read a graph but fish were caught and at times multiple fish. This is why I never overlook a ledge and fish them all until I am convinced they will not produce.
  23. After spending the money on the goodie bags, maps and the meal there wasn't much money left Leo. I understand Glenn's bringing in a few gals from Kentucky who'll dance for free food and liters of coke. My God, that's enough to satisfy all men.
  24. I like the Owner 5/0 Offset Wide Gap for all my worm and lizard applications.
  25. This one?
