Put the time in now, you will not regret it on game day when you kick booty. When I played I was in pain after practice but never on game day. Good conditioning pays off. I wish I could still do it.
Best advice I can give is never have any regrets in your Golden Years. Embrace and never let go. Mistakes will happen but take the time to correct. Congrats and good luck.
The bigger ones were there. Next time you get the opportunity and start picking up small ones off the point work out to deeper water, mainly the canals in the bays. The bigger ones at times will be there just in deeper water. I experienced this exact same occurrence.
When your there ask them to check the back for a specific rod. They have rejects everyday but keep in mind these rods at 50% off do no carry a lifetime warranty. One year only and you must have a receipt.
I am not sure what to call it' but one thing for sure the action of your bait is the best attractant. Another thing I know for sure is that these products will make bass hold on longer. Maybe we should call it STICK EM.
I would add a drop of oil to the spool bearings. More times then not any reel will need oil when purchased new, especially if it sat on the shelf for a while
Nice, thanks for the reply. I have the Lowrider Lizard Dragger, and it's definitely more like a MH. So do you think if I got the XH it would be closer to a true Heavy?
IMHO I think that going down in Power one level is more of a true rating.
I do not have that rod but a Head Turner and Lizard Dragger 1. Both I would consider rated as over-powered. Both are Heavy Power but act more like a MH Power. Very sensitive rods as far as i am concerned.
You can but a T-Rigged Craw mostly. You will already be setup for the standing timber. Some of the timber is in fairly deep water 24 ft. Use a 3/8 weight s the Crappie do not get a chance at them. A lot of fellas fish crappie off the timber.
Not mine but my fishing partners. I just landed by hand. 49 inch Musky caught on St Clair. The rod he is holding is the rod used. A G Loomis Bronzeback M Power Spinning. Caught on a Wiggle Wart.
I would recommend this rod.

Falcon Power Ratings are a bit on the light side so I would not be worried.
