  1. Gander Mountain and Dick's sometimes has exclusive colors with lure manufacturers. This may be the case, normally they will say on the package that they are exclusive colors for _______.
  2. Burn the garage down and buy a new boat, better yet just go fishng, the bass will follow you. Also attracts European women. :
  3. You earned the right to fish for free, thank you for your service. All you need to do is follow the regs.
  4. Also if you are replacing a 12V motor and have a plug check the plug, you may have to change the wiring of the plug for 24V to pass through.
  5. More then anything you better have a life plan laid out to discuss with them. I am sure they want the best for you if you can detail out what you will do with the rest of your life I am sure they will understand.
  6. I have a pair of insulated Cabela Guide Wear that I fished in a driving rain with 40 degree temperature. Never soaked through, did get pretty heavy as the water stayed between the Shell and Goretex.
  7. But what does it mean exactly? Will they produce products like Megabass and Daiwa did?
  8. They seem to be a bit serious, don't you think? :
  9. I know of no laws against it. I have seen folks use a decoy for Northern Pike. They do sell a weed type decoy for introducing weeds to an area which are void of them as an attractant.
  10. Here is a bit on the value of the truck in question, J may be right a bit high priced. http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/overview.aspx?year=1998&make=Ford&model=Ranger&icid=search_ecard_blurb
  11. I had one in the early 90's drove it for 185,000 miles and only had to do general maintenance. Was very reliable for me. Believe it or not went through only 2 sets of brakes and tires before I traded it in, which I found amazing for a truck. I might add though it was terrible in the snow as it was not 4 wheel drive.
  12. Great Lakes fishing at it's best, nice smallies.
  13. Send your buck fifty to me and I will spend it for you Ken.
  14. Amen Edit: It may take a few weeks to pay back. I just checked the DNR website. A resident Trout Stamp is $ 15.75. Surely giving up buying useless lures for a few weeks is worth saying in compliance.
  15. Normally a Trout Stamp is only a few bucks. Why such a fuss over a few bucks just to stay in compliance? I am sure the money goes back into the system, ie stocking the trout. I am sure you much like any fisherman wastes at least that on a weekly basis buying lures that do not produce.
  16. It may be the rod you are using. I use a MH power ExF action. I use the same rod for Spinnerbaits also. I find that the ExF action gets me a better hookset using a single hook moving bait. I had the same problem untill I switched to an ExF action.
  17. I personally do not think Romo is a bad QB. His problem is that he does not accept his own mistakes. The first step to correcting a problem is admitting you have one. This young man needs some guidance to become a true leader, it is not always everyone elses fault. I think Wade is a good coach he just has very little back bone.
  18. You're looking at it all wrong. It's not that the NFC is bad, it's just that it's very difficult at the moment to pick out a clear leader in the NFC. The AFC, on the other hand has enough stand outs or weak teams (whichever you view it) that's it's relatively easy to see who the leaders are. Not really, in any team sport consistency produces a winner. There is no consistency in play in the NFC, but much more in the AFC. The talent is there just no execution. IE your Hawks beating my Bears. The talent is there, IE Bears Cowboys, Saints, Packers and the Vikings to name a few. Maybe Atlanta or the Giants will have a chance. The AFC is doing what is expected no so in the NFC. Bad is an end product of execution much like good is.
  19. Maybe we should have 2 AFC teams in the Suoer Bowl this year, boy if the NFC does not get it together this years Super Bowl may not be much of a game. An NFC team barely makes the Top 5.
  20. If you ever paid attention to how Ike treats his equipment it is no wonder it broke. Not saying that a manufacturing defect could not happen but I believe if you take care of your equipment it will last. I have broken two rods in my lifetime. One in a tailgate, my fault (Ala Bill Dance) and one on a hook-set, again my fault. The line (Braid) was lying over the tip when I set the hook. No good.
  21. Here is another in Lansing, IL. You can ship in to them, they also do good work. http://philspropshop.com/
  22. Way to go Kent, the misses must be a Saint.
  23. One of God's great creations.
  24. I use snaps and tie them on with a Palomar Knot. I have no issues and I feel it improves the action at least for wide wobble type cranks. http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops®-FastLock-Bass-Snap/product/7816/-261747
  25. Yes Glen is right I have gone through 3 sets of them a season. Went with the T Nuts Tom suggested and just completed the 2nd season with no issues.
