  1. We know her!!!!!!!!!
  2. I don't fight anymore...Bring your gun. Have you set a time and place? I would like to steer clear.
  3. 1) How light of line and what power rod? Also consider what type or brand of line. Not all line is created equal. Rod and line in light tackle require a certain amount of forgiveness. Otherwise too much strain on the line. Might be the case. 2) Light tackle is not the best choice to fish near a weed line. You need some power to keep the bass out of the weeds. Without knowing your exact set up this is only speculation on your problem. 12 lb quality line and a Med Hvy Power rod should be your choice which is not really light tackle. In summary use the right gear for the situation you are working. Moderate to Heavy cover, heavier tackle. Light tackle open water suitation. Match line to gear. Match line rods and lures together and to cover.
  4. The tail is very different. I am familiar with most that folks mentioned but the shape at the end of the tail is unique. I do not recall seeing this on any bait. Take a good hard look at the tail.
  5. I'll pass, probably would not happen anyway. Did not look like that in the old days playing football, boxing and baseball, would not happen now. He is a bit scary, I would definitely cross the street if he was walking towards me.
  6. There will be some Merlot and Pinot Noir (HomeBrew) from Chalet Leo.
  7. I believe if you travel up to Park Falls, WI and you go in there in store shop there are some prettty cheap rods. Yep, St. Croix. Park falls, WI. In-store only. I don't know of any rod company that makes an effort to sell their "cosmetic defective" rods online. They are good people, normally it is an in store purchase but if you call them they will tell you what they have on the rack within reason becuase normally there are quite a bit. If you know what you want just ask. They will ship to you for a fee. I picked up an Avid one time for $ 80.00 just cosmetic problem.
  8. Any OSHA approved safety glasses will work and most are inexpensive not much more then $15.00. Most hardware stores will carry time. I have been in the metals trade for over 30 years and believe me that are impact resistant.
  9. It was probably shipped straight from Fenwick. My partner had a rod replaced due to breakage from Fenwick and that was the type tube they used. It also came in one piece.
  10. I have had the occasion to have the need for all. DO NOT eat 3 Alarm Wings at Hooters the night before. No amount of beer to wash it down will help. :
  11. Wow Kent, how long before it melts? 4 hours?
  12. Go Yankees!
  13. This was only started because the Pats are at home. I your wildest dreams how are the Red Sox to get past the White Sox, or the Yanks for that matter?
  14. Not sure what this means? Wanna Be?
  15. Sugar Bay was hot on our last trip. I had two on that broke off in that bay but did manage quite a few.
  16. Try some KVD Line Conditioner on the guides. Hope to knock the ice off easier. This I am sure was better than sitting on a bucket on the ice.
  17. Not necessarily, if you consider it a good company they will be accommodating especially in your situation.
  18. Yep the only problem is their durability. Has that improved? I have not purchased any in well over a year.
  19. I do not know how many of you remember this thread but this one seemed to reflect how sincere a person Jack was. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1273159261/0
  20. I experienced this in a Lake in NW Indiana it is a shallow lake that was drained and dredged but not much. A lot of brush grew during the couple of years that they keep it low. They did remove the fish and locate elsewhere. This lake was and still is a Bluegill factory. It took some time maybe 7 years but the bass have rebounded along with Northern Pike. I have had 100 keeper days there and have caught Pike up to 36 inches. The bass did not seem to change their behavior much but the lake was much better for it. 25 years ago you could catch good Northern Strain Bass there buy just prior to the drain down nothing but dinks. Now 4-5 pound bass are readily available and have had 20-25 pound bags on good days. I believe your lake will rebound also.
  21. OMG Brian, do not open it. One of our companies is in Milwaukee and we sent them something that was steaming when it left. Be careful my friend.
  22. Cold water seems to magnify the breakage issue. Never broke one in warm water even banging the bottom but have broke them in cold water below 55 degrees.
  23. RIP Jack, your family will be in my prayers.
  24. Yep, every game we lost this year i truely feel was on our own hands. We have the smarts, skill, and heart to win each of those games but we didnt finish them. The only game i really felt like we got outbeat was the Atlanta game earlier in the season. But if you will notice, we havent lost by more than 4 points this whole year. 4 points! Every game was in our reach. An i hope cutler is ready, matthews, hawk, and woodsons going to be all over him. I'm still seeing "WE" and "OUR". Where exactly in Illinois do you live, Milwaukee? ;D I was wondering what position he played. Hopefully his play will make a differance.
