  1. Foots good Ken, barely slowed me down, at least no where near getting older,LOL. Did have to reduce standing at the trolling motor to 8 hours versus 12 hours.
  2. To mimic shad I will use a pearl colored 3 inch paddle tail.
  3. Walked along the Catawba yesterday in Rock Hill, was amazed the flow was good and river is clear. Lower end of Wylie is clear upper end is muddy, will be out on Wylie in the AM was out yesterday morning and Wylie was clear.
  4. Mepps Aglia
  5. Happy birthday, Kent hope all is well.
  6. Unless square bills and ripping through grass, I would stay with mono. The extra stretch will be your friend if you can not keep the bass from jumping. If you use braid you may want to consider your hook set. A very slight sweep will stick them and no more.
  7. Knot failure tie a Palomar and wet the line before tightening. I had the same issue until I went to this.
  8. Are you going to tell us or tease us? LOL
  9. I prefer anything with a centrifugal brake. It allows me fewer professional over runs.
  10. Do not think anyone, at least myself, is comparing a bass to a sucker. All I am saying is they will take a bait off the bottom. Probably not the true definition of a bottom feeder. The question did not pertain to them being a bottom feeder in the first place.
  11. Seems I read somewhere that a bass can suck a bait In.Even seen video proof of it. Seems to me that provides for the ability to feed off the bottom. At least that seems logical.
  12. I remember a day on Choke Canyon that on every cast I landed a bass deadsticking a senko. I wonder how that dang senko floated?
  13. Embrace her and respect her wishes. She needs your support to make her next transition in life.
  14. Good rods but tend to be a bit tip heavy
  15. That is a good fish for Michigan, good job Pops!!!!!
