  4. Anybody doing any fishing in charles/sudbury rivers this time of year. Is there a possibility for pickeral or pike from shore this time of year in the faster flowing winter water, and if so what lures should i use if there is a possibility to catch these beasts. I just got a really bad case of withdrawal and might go out tommorow :-X thanks guys
  5. i hooked a saltwater fish similar to that but a little smaller, and it was on a single hook storm swimbait, must have been a 1 in a million chance
  6. i went to florida for vacation last year to my grandparents house, and an alligator scared the living crap out of me, i've never seen any outside the dam zoo and i see one chillin 50 feet from me under a bush checking me out, i never ran so friggin fast in my life
  7. you're not going to find peacocks in north carolina, they're from the amazon, they're not gonna like your weather down there too much. Sry dude, gonna have to take a trip to catch those bad boys
  8. i caught a good sized chocolate labrador one time. We were trolling striper diving cranks, and pulled up on shore to stretch our legs from the long kayak paddle when the dog saw the moving crankbait attached to my rod and went for it. It got the hook right through the lip and the fight ensued...
  9. anybody else think those look like mcdonalds chicken mcnuggets.... that thing is huge
  10. I always thought those fish looked so cool. I think we have them up in mass, but i've never caught them, and never seen anyone else catch them
  11. wow theres still stripers off the coast of NY, seems a little late in the migration for that, but good job nonetheless, livin the dream
  12. absolutely stunning fish.... I had no idea you had salmon that size in NY holy crap, I wish I knew about that fishing when I was up in the fingerlakes a few years ago
  13. see if you can get some sea worms, run them up a bait style hook, and weight it down with a sinker. Don't set the rod down hold it and if you feel anything set that hook like your life depends on it. Try to find a place where the current really rips, that where they like to hang out. good luck
  14. that is truely a beautiful sea monster, bet it fought like hell
  15. wait in california???? they have stripers over there??
