  1. Rigged wieghtless skirt up towards eyelet fished the same way as a senko is deadly on bigger bass. When you lift your rod tip to pick the bait off the bottom it will dart back almost to were you picked it up from. Somtimes it darts back in to the face and then mouth of the Bass that may be following the bait.
  2. Now is that what a pork trailer looks like?
  3. Owner wide gap plus and the new Owner lightwire twistlocks depending on what I am T rigging. I used to like the Gami ewgs but never looked back after using these. I still like the Gami splitshot /dropshot hooks for dropshoting worms though.
  4. Double dropshot and nose hooked baits are an invatation to more frequent snags. I know its a more open water rig than other types of baits but you still have to target the fish in snaggy areas and its hard enouph keeping one hook from snagging especially were there are sunken trees.Bass like those places.
  5. Zoom Yamamoto Roboworm Netbait Reaction Inovations.
  6. The colors on the roboworm site never look exactly like what you get in the bag!LOL But the Fish like them and thats what counts! Best dropshot worms hands down.
  7. Zoom,Roboworm,Yamamoto,Netbait and reactoninovations. These brands have the most consistant fish catching Baits though out their brand selections. All the other bait companies copy them. brushhogs, senkos, creatures, any roboworm, paca craws/chunks,Sweetbeavers ,flirtworms, ole monster etc have been proven winners for me so they get my loyaty.
  8. On my float tube! didnt have a scale and I wasnt able to lift her higher for the full body picture cause she was to heavy. Caught on 6lb seagar flouro and a 4 1/2'' oxblood roboworm 3/16 wieght
  9. I used to catch fish on the Senko alot.Very effective bait but I got board with fishing them. I found it more of a challenge on other baits such as jigs,Trigs and crankbaits. Dont get me wrong I think Senkos are one of the best baits to use when you really need a bite but im not a tournament guy who is going to lose money when i dont get a bite.Using a senko for me feels like Teabaging...
  10. Roboworms and Normans crankbaits.
  11. http://www.artberryfishing.com/ hook up with this guy at Diamond Valley you wont be dissapointed.
  12. Your right on the Money with that suggestion! id also like to add that this also works good at about any Socal Lake
  13. I use 8lb Seagar abrazix on a spinning reel with #4 gami splitshot/dropshot hook.Leader anywhere from 4'' to 12'' depending on what the fish want. 4'' to 6'' Roboworms mostly for bait And the lightest wieght I can get away with without losing feel of the bottom.Lighter the wieght the less i get snaged imo in rocky brush areas in the lakes that I fish. I dont really use heavier line than 8lb on a dropshot .The water is to clear in the lakes were I fish
  14. http://www.skippyfish.com/products.php Rigged on a Scrounger head or wieghtless. Or the Zoom Fluke.
  15. If it creeps swims or crawls in the water then a Bass will eat it. Sometimes they will eat each other. Crawdads like creek chanels in fall to so Jigs are good choices as craw imatators. Bass and Blue gill colored swimbaits, cranks, spinnerbaits, senkos etc. They are not to picky this time of year. As far as lakes with out creek chanels then usually shallow water near deep water drop offs are the first places you would want to check out first in the fall.
  16. I cant wait till Sunday! One more trip and the lake is closed till may
  17. Nice fish sir!
  18. Lipless Crank.
  19. Red Eye Shad will out perform any Lipless crankbait on the Market hands down! IMO You also can get three of them for the price of an expensive Import lipless from Japan. A top of the line Lipless for less than 6 bucks.
  20. That was even better than last week. Cant wait to get out there again. Still pinching myself.
  21. chobe craw a.k.a Green pumpkin blue is a Money color. Nice job
  22. Yes the answer to your questions are correct. The lake is open on weds sat and sunday from May to the end of Sept. The place is loaded with plenty of Northern strain in the 4 to 7lb range 30 plus fish days are common. All catch and release only and you have to use barbless hooks or pinch down the barbs required by the DFG. Only 25 rental boats on the lake and this time of year they are easy to get.
  23. Never leave Fish to find Fish
  24. Dont get caught up on someone elses bite! They already got them.
  25. Depends on the Spinnerbaits you are regularly chucking.I wouldn't use the same thing for a 1/4 oz spinnerbait as I would for one that was 1oz.
