Nothing in Reno. I go to CA every other weekend to get my fix.

That rig would be going for around 1400 or more in my region of the country. I look at craigslist a lot for boats. I would tell the guy you have 800 today and see if he bites! Also, if you are not aware of tinboats.net check them out. Its my 2nd favorite forum site.

If that rig was where I live I would be very interested in it at that price. What is the floor width? If 42 or more I would jump on it for sure.

I actually live in Reno, but I keep my boat in a garage in Lodi. So I have easy access to highway 12 and the Stockton area.

I wouldn't mind running 45 minutes or so. I'm not sure how fast this boat moves, maybe 18-20 mph.

I called Pflueger. They said the thread must be stripped and to take it back to the retailer. I hope the bait monkey doesn't get in my ear when I'm there!

No problem getting the handle on the right side. The only problem is getting the cap to stay on the opposite side.

I am going to be fishing the delta on a regular basis. I just need some help to get me started. I have a 1436 jon with a 9.8. I need advice as to where to launch. Ideally productive water near a ramp. Also, what are you guys flippin/pitchin? I have more confidence in plastics. But will stock up on jigs if they are that much more effective. Thanks

After trying to figure this out for a few hours I might have an idea. I don't think the the thread from the reel side comes out far enough towards the lip. The cap isnt deep/long enough to catch the thread.

Its not cross-threaded. Its not even catching anything to screw on to.Its acting like the cap is too big for the left side.

According to the Pflueger site all Presidents are left/right. May give them a call in the morning.

Hi guys, I just purchased this reel and am trying to make it a right hand retrieve. The problem is the little plastic cover that screws on the opposite side of the handle doesnt fit. It only fits on the right side for the left hand retrieve. What gives??

I have purchased 2 small aluminum boats in NV and registered them in CA. If you have the title it is not a problem. They will give you your new CF number on the spot and a new pink will arrive in the mail. For my jon boat I purchased for 400$ I paid a total of 55$ of tax and transfer fees. I believe the trailer had higher fees and required an inspection.
