  1. die-hard Seahawks fan here. Not sure how this draft is gonna go for us. We need a TE, RG, and a really tall reciever.
  2. Great camera-work and editing. To me, like a new style of "Fishing with John." Funny, entertaining, and portrays real fishing.
  3. One of my favorite fishing shows!!
  4. Welcome! I am also a golfer, and like many of you, find it hard to balance the two. Hard to concentrate on making a t-time at a course i have played 100 times, when there are 50 lakes around me that need to be fished. The baitmonkey > golfmonkey ....however, fishing is much cheaper. If i had to buy a 40$ reservation to go fishing I would be :'(
  5. very nice work

    Hi

    8-) Welcome
  7. living in the pacific northwest i get that feeling almost every trip. :-/
  8. Congrats on catching your 2nd PB, and for hooking into such a beast. Thank you for the pictures.
  9. With all the crankbait tips saying use the crank in 1/2-3/4 of its diving depth, I could see you getting it snagged or broken on a rock before I could see it snapping off because of line size. However, those DT's are thick, so i dont see really any problems. I use 10lb. P-Line CX for all my cranks. I use those snaps that Muddy linked on a few hard-baits that came bare.
  10. Welcome 8-) I would grab some 3/16 oz. jigs, and some Yamamoto Double-Tail Hula Grubs. I would also stock up on a few Rapalas.
  11. great paint jobs!
  12. 2 1/2 inch Rapala jointed shad-rap in blue shad color.
  13. Hot tamales candy and an orange vitamin water or peach snapple.
  14. still a Senko virgin :-[ Going to improve dropshot and spinnerbait this year.
  15. Rattlin Rapala Berkeley Frenzy River2Sea Tungsten Vibe Bill Lewis Rat-l trap
  16. Welcome! I would go to youtube and type in "bass professor", then click on his "all videos". and/or just type in the name of the lure you are curious about. Then, like stated above, go to Cabelas and bass pro shop websites and look at their video lure tutorials. Many times these are for a certain company like Berkeley or Storm, but they still help. Possibly the most helpful thing would be to use the forum search for an item and look down the list of all the times it was the main title of a thread.
  17. I noticed a ton of large swimbaits with heavy weight. I noticed that the gps had them riding the high and low side of a river/creek bed in 30-40 ft of water. I noticed that as soon as they launched the boat, Ike starting pitching to the dock at the launch. and i noticed that there must be a ton of mental pressure to be a young bass pro from NJ. With no "magic baits", these pros use much of the same gear we do, which means they need to be so much more in-tune with their surroundings on a lake.....and do it consistently with a camera on their shoulder. Ike said "I fish my best when it's just for fun"....and I bet he does.
  18. Wow, great interview. Thank you for posting it.
