  1. Try anything close to red bug or red shad. Your normal green pumpkins and such will work as well.
  2. I hear you can catch a quick limit in Panther creek. I usually stay more up towards Yellow creek myself since I'm coming from TN. Good luck on your tourney.
  3. Like Big O said, those are great colors. I have been doing well on all the ones listed with the tail dipped chart.
  4. This past monday I caught about 25 bass on a suspending rogue using braid with no leader in a clear lake. Works plenty good for me. Just remember to set the drag correctly so you don't pull the treble hooks out.
  5. Char. with blue back or char. with blue splatter back is one of my top colors.
  6. I'm different from most and been using braid 100% of the time for the last 2 years, no leader either. I haven't noticed a difference in the number of fish I catch even in the clear water.
  7. I have the exact same set up except mine is 6'10" i believe with suffix braid in the 30 # test and love the set up.
  8. I have one in a spinning configuration. They do have graphite but a different process called tx4 or something (I'd have to look at my rod again to get name correct) that makes it sensitive yet flexible. I not only use it for cranks, which I have caught many fish on, but even use it for small bottom bouncing baits a lot. I can feel as good with it as I can most my other jig/worm rods.
