  1. Come to PopPop. (My grandkids call me "PopPop)!
  2. I just read Fish Chris' topic and it raised a question with me which probably will not make me very popular. I love to eat what I catch, whether it is bass, walleyes, trout or harvesting a deer. I never harvest more than I can use, but I like to think that I have never purchased fish fron the grocery store. Fish is suppose to be very good for you and I think the lake I fish in is a pretty safe one. It is about 220 acres and elec. motors only. No farm runoff. Just wondering how others feel. I am sure that there a those that are strictly C/R anglers and I can appreciate that. I guess I am from the "old school" that grw up in the depression when it was a way of life.
  3. Do any of you guys ever use spoons for bass? I have used everything else but never tried spoons. I have a lot of spoons laying around like Cloes, Johnson Silver, and small Daredevils.
  4. I caught a 17 in. bass last year and when I cleaned him, he had 02 worm hook coming out his back side. When I cut him open, he also had a lg. jighead hook in his stomach. So much for digestive juices. I suggest cutting the line and hope for the best.
  5. Well for me, it's a couple of Oreos and a cup of coffee at 8:30 and a good cigar at 10:30.
  6. Wow! What a catch. Can she clean fish?
  7. Glad to have you aboard!
  8. Welcome! I'm sure we all need more than two cents this time of year.
  9. Hi, and welcome aboard!!!!!
  10. Hi neighbor. Great having you aboard!
  11. What fishing magazines do you suscribe to and which do you get the most helpful information from. My personal favorite is In Fisherman.
  12. Hi Everybody! I just came on board after being a long time reader. Guess I want to get my 2 cents in too. I'm from NE Pennsylvania and fish the Pocono Mt. region. Hoping for some regional pointers as well as the wealth of knowledge of how it's done across the US. Love largemouth fishing and especially topwater. No thrill like it! Arnie
