  1. I just picked up a pack of the Luck "E" Strike bass magic swim baits, and the berkley havoc grass pigs. Anyone used these two brands of plastic swim baits?
  2. I agree, i use these all the time and have had great success.
  3. I would stock up on soft plastics, here is what i would recommend: Zoom super flukes in albino and green pumpkin Zoom brush hogs in watermelon red flake Shakey jig heads with plastic craws and finesse worms Any brand tubes for flippin' and C-riggin' These should get you through the summer with good success.
  4. Just ordered some 4" BPS tubes.....hoping to C-rig them. Anyone have experience with these?
  5. Maybe the 8lb maxima line has to much stretch as well?
  6. i have the fluke texposed but i'll try the mh rod...thanks.
  7. Fished the fluke this morning with great action.....had probably 7-8 fish hit my lure in about an hour....the bad side to the story is I only landed 1 out of all those bites. Im using a medium action spinning rod with 8 lb. green maxima line and a 4/0 EWG hook. Any suggestions on what i could use that will help?
  8. Anyone have tips or experience on these mini swim baits?
  9. those tubes look awesome....how much is a 100pack?
  10. Catching bass is a blast but anytime you can't keep the crappie off your line is a d**n good day fishin'!
  11. I like the SPRO bonzeye frog....I fished the *** plastic frog the other day and the action of the frog is awesome. I can't wait to use it more.
  12. Im in a post spawn period where we live, you can see thousands of tiny bass schooling around and occasionaly you'll see a big bass slam them off the top of the water. What is the best lure for this?
  13. I usually pitch t-rigged tubes and brush hogs in tullies....anyone ever use jigs for tullies?
  14. What size bullet weight and hook?
  15. What are the best ways to rig this bait?
  16. Most walmarts carry super spooks and spook jr's...you shouldn't have a problem finding them.
  17. The super spook jr. is the same bait just a bit smaller and different colors, i believe the jr. also has rattles in it as well. Walking the dog is very easy, once you cast it out there you use jerks with the rod while keeping a lil bit of slack in the line in a constant motion, this allows the bait to zig zag back and forth. Once you fish it for couple minutes you'll get it down, it's some of the easiest fishing and has been known to hook people on bass fishing for life!
  18. You need to invest in a few super spooks....try getting one white one and one black one. These things will cast your line all the way off your spool. I have had some of the best topwater action on spooks.
  19. I believe if the water color is clear enough for the fish to see the bait ...they will bite it if they're in the mood. If the fish aren't wanting to bite it doesn't matter what you throw. Alot of the colors are for marketing.
  20. what is the best way to rig these?
  21. For largemouth ...try dropshotting 4 1/2" roboworms...i've had great success with those....i haven't been lucky enough to do any smallmouth fishing but from what i've seen the goby worms work great for dropshotting smallsmouth.
  22. Is there a noticable difference fishing a roboworm shakkin' zipper on a shakey head vs. fishing the regular 6" straight tail? Just picked up a pack of these and im anxious to test them out.
  23. I just saw that show last sunday....the worm he was using is a strike king 3x finesse worm in green pumpkin....he had it rigged on a strike king shakey head. Im about to stock up on that rig myself
  24. ***: 4 & 5" *** in watermelon and junebug Baby brush bugs in watermelon red Zoom: Super flukes in white pearl, baby bass Trick worms in watermelon and green pumpkin colors finesse worms in greens and brown colors I could go on for days about plastics but these seem to be the best producers for me....i have a nice spring wish list with bass pro and wife is NOT gonna like it!
  25. I have been fishing with the fluke in the white pearl color but haven't had any luck. All of the fish i've caught out of this pond has been off watermelon plastic colors and a few darker junebug colors...what is the next best color to try in flukes?
