Thanks for all the replies. I signed up for a trial of Bassin (3 months I think) and I'm looking into Inside Line. Inside is Line is only $15 for a year, so I might just give it a try too.
I started bass fishing a few years ago and was wondering if there were any good magazines out for bass fishing? Like with tips on using different baits. Any opinions are welcome.
Thanks.
I went Saturday and found some good deals. Im a budget fisherman so I love cheap combos and I bought the Daiwa Procaster Tournament Combo for $50. Yo Zuri hybrid was going for 5.59 for a 275 yard spool. Frenzy Rattl'rs were 1.99. I needed a new spinning rod and was going to get the All Star rods that were $50, but by 1:00pm, almost all were gone.
Haha I agree. 6:30am this past wednesday, I was using a popper. Twitch twitch twitch....BOOOM!!! I about dropped my rod at the splash when that bass hit. Really got my heart pumping. It was only about a 1.5 lber but he must of been hungry to hit it that hard.
10# on your light rod? I have 4# on my light rod. 10# on my heavy. I have never had luck with heavier line. Just set your drag right and you can catch any size fish on any line, you will just have to tire the fish out first
Went fishing from the bank Tuesday and caught some nice fish, one was about a 4-5 lber. Early this morning I went out on a friends boat and caught 6 fish with my largest being maybe 1.5 lbs. So I say you dont necessarily need a boat all the time.
I still fall under this category. "Son, there is no way you can cast under those tree limbs."
"Yeah I can dad, and besides, thats where I'm gonna catch a 6-pounder, watch"....
"Dad...can you motor the boat over to those limbs so I can free my line?"
