  1. I'll get my wallet ready
  2. Throw them all away and use "Heat Shrink Tubing" works much better. I rarely fish Senko any more, but when I rig them wacky style the tubing works better and the Senko last longer.
  3. Tried it all and still too small for my eyes. Hard for me to buy a jig if I can't get a good idea of it's color. Sorry
  4. Color is getting closer to what I use. Am I the only one or is it very difficult to discern the color of their jigs from the website. It is extremely hard for me even with my glasses on and a magnifing glass.
  5. Mine came about two weeks ago
  6. No problem here. I just save them and figure down the road I'll have enough parts to put together a whole new reel.
  7. no problim with capin fever round hear.keep the elfants back cuz ta walls r clozen sno n fog got ta kleen ta realline 4/0 to sinko wait on ta fawg til ya feel PRESURE. got no problims
  8. Got the HG and XG and agree that they are exceptional in weight and performance. One thing I've noticed that is a minor irritant for me is how the water from my braided line is funneled down and saturates my finger as I palm the reel, but no biggy. I would imagine them coming out with a new Metanium, last time I stocked up on GLX's the NRX was introduced.
  9. I agree with the IMX as a great value on a budget and the 844c is a very versatile rod. The GLX 844c is one of my all time favorites.
  10. I have both, the Ci4+ is smoothier than the Ci4 but the difference is slight in my hands.
  11. That's kinda like an unforgivable error, Oops ain't gonna do it.
  12. I have the NRX 852s and the GLX 852s. The Stradic 2500fh, stradic 2500ci4, stradic 2500ci4+, sustain2500fe. Personally I like the Ci4's pair with the NRX. Makes a nice, light combo. The sustain seems to pair well with the GLX. The Sustain is the smoothest, but that Stradic fh is not that far behind and it would be hard for me to justify the price difference if I was on a budget. The two Ci4's are noticably lacking in smoothness compare to the Sustain and fh. For me the weight factor is more important when fishing the NRX. All four are excellent reels and so far have held up very well with just routine maintence as all Shimano reels seem to do.
  13. I'm knot gonna get skunked next year.
  14. Look into a BPS Crankin Stick, excellent value.
  15. Wait til after the "breaking in period" is over and see if you still have the same opinion.
  16. I have 2 GLX MBR 844c They are WONDERFUL rods. I was wondering how a NRX rod (893/894 / 854/853) would compare and which one might handle the 1/4 and 1/2 oz. jig the best? or like iabass8 reply do i just buy two rods.
  17. What would the two different rods be?
  18. I wait til high quality gear is on sale and then pay with points I acquire on my credit card. Example just bought a new Stradic Ci+ for 175.00 and will pay the bill with accumulated cash back points. My out of pocket cost=0
  19. Jigs are so much fun. Congrats and keep up the good work.
  20. Nice bass
  21. What an accomplishment especially for so far north. I had my best year ever for the largest 5. It was over 30# but that was for the whole year in Idaho. You done good
  22. Good Job, Congrats
