My manual says my charger can normally recharge two deeply discharged batteries in twelve hours or less. My charger is a 10 amp guest chargepro model 2611.

when the red light is on, it indicates that your batteries are discharged and the charger is recharging them at the "bulk" rate 10 amps (stage 1). when both the green and red lights are on , the charger is charging at an "absorption" rate of between 3 and 10 amps (stage 2). when the green light is on, the charger is charging at a "float" rate of less than 3 amps (stage 3). your batteries are now 80%-90% charged and ready for use. this "float" charging current will gradually decrease to as low as 0.1 amps over the next few days as the batteries reach 100% charge. they will now be kept at full charge without over-charging. P.S. i have a 99 tracker with a guest chargepro automatic 3 stage 2 output battery charger. hope this helps!

Since you like the St Croix Legend , I would suggest that rod or Avid Series. For the reel Daiwa HSTA Super-tuned. I bought two of these reels a few months ago, and they are the sweetest baitcasting reels I've ever thrown! Also have the best backlash control of any reel I've ever owned!

Hey guys if you like watching videos you can buy KVD's 3 disc set at BPS for $9.95 which has alot of good info. Contains Pitchin to heavy hitters, Strategies for changing conditions, and Proven spinnerbait techniques. These videos are older productions but still good, first two videos I believe were produced in 2001 or 2002, and the last video in 1991 or 1992. Also heard that The Bass Pros season one video has lots of good info, but have not seen it yet.

Go to Bass Pro Shops website and click on the video seminars link. Watch the flippin and pitchin video with Denny Brauer. Listen and study the video closely then practice, practice, practice! Hope this helps.

Well after about a week of debating about getting some better quality reels I finally broke down and ordered 2 new Diawa Advantage HSTA reels from Delo's. Have been trying to decide between Citca , RevoS, Accurrist Pt, and Advantage HSTA. Hope I made the right choice. My old reels are as follows BPS Pro Qualifier 7 bearing, 2 accurrist 500cx graphite frames, and shakesphere acxiom 6 bearing graphite frame. Paid $79 for each of the first 3 and $35 for the shakesphere. I have 2 all star rods that I will be putting the New Diawas on one is a 6'6'' heavy fast the other is a 6'6'' med fast.
