  1. The first picture is a yellow perch and a bluegill.
  2. I took my boys to pond about 2 hours from my house for some fun. There is not anywhere closer to catch fish like this. 4 hours of fishing, and around 100 fish caught. We got yellow perch, bluegill, sunfish ( what we called them where I grew up), and LM bass. My youngest put his rod down after awhile saying he was tired of catching fish .
  3. We had puppies last night. Cocker Spaniels. 4 males and 1 female. Here are pics of them and mom and dad.
  4. I believe it is for flotation if water fills the boat.
  5. you aren't being ignored, I have never fished there, and not sure how often other Idahoans get on here.
  6. Took my 2 boys out this morning to a pond that I ice fished this winter. There are bluegill and bass in it, fish and game recently did a kill on the pond and restocked it. They caught a few and lost a few. They are excited to go back. I thought this place would give them more action than my favorite smallie spot, plus a got a boat yesterday small enough to put on the pond.
  7. Thanks, I will look into Depot Bay
  8. Thanks for the info, we were thinking about Newport, my wife has been there before. When is the best time to come for halibut, crab, and salmon?
  9. I am planning on going to the Oregon coast nest year and do some off shore fishing. I would like some input from anyone who has been or lives in the area. I would like to know where would be a good place, and a charter you might recommend. Also places to stay. I have been looking on the web, but would like input from people who have been there. Thanks.

  11. I still think Idaho would be a great place to come.
  12. I have, I took a jaw band off a fish, then in 10 minutes caught that fish again on a different lure, Had the marks from the jaw band freshly being taken off.
  13. Around here we catch yellow perch by using small jigs (like what you would use for crappie) jigged on the bottom, usually in deeper water.
  14. sunny, 95 degrees, 15 feet down, on a drop off. (next day was back to 65 degrees)
  15. caught them on the 1 1/2 in tube jigs, and a couple on a beetlespin.
  16. Here are a couple of pics from yesterday. We lost several at the boat trying to land them. These are pretty good for Idaho.
  17. I don't know how you mail things out, but if it comes through the post office, I have to have a PO Box on it. The town I live in does not have mail delivered to our houses, it is not available, I only have a PO box for USPS.
  18. Really cool video!!
  19. I mainly fish Lake Walcott. A friend was telling me about Lake Lowell, and I have been considering trying to get up there to try it ( I made a post about it further down the page). I really enjoy CJ Strike too, mostly go there for crappie for fish to eat.
  20. The weather has been benn making it difficult to get out. The winds have been making it difficult and dangerous to be out where I fish mostly, and then there has been snowing and hailing this past week. We should have better weather starting this week, so I should be out, have most if the month of Jne off work so I can fish a bunch. Where are you located DoubletT?
  21. I have seen that numerous times on here.
  22. I can't believe you guys don't like it. :-?
  23. Their show was really good. They have a couple of songs on the radio. They will be getting more nkown before too long.
  24. They were here doing a benefit concert. It was a really good show.
  25. That was exactly my guess, and that is what my jigs are. made some over the winter, but the weather has not cooperated much. 2 days ago it was snowing again, and the 30mph winds just don't want to go away. >
