Anyone out there with the Daiwa? I am very interested in the Twitchin' Bar. Does anyone actually use it or is it just a piece of junk?

Mostly 5 to 7 inch worms Bass fishing ... 6-8lb line.

I am in the market for a new baitcasting reel and was hoping for some advice. Last year I purchased a cheap Daiwa baitcasting reel and hated every second of it. I just did not take the time to learn how to use it and almost threw it in the trash. This year I decided to give it another try and I'm totally hooked. I love baitcasting reels now ... just needed to get over that learning curve. Anyways it is time to replace one of my spinning reels with another baitcaster and was hoping for some input on witch to buy. I have decided upon one of three reels and want to know from people who my already own them how they stack up and if maybe I overlooked one. Here are the three I am looking at ... Team Daiwa Viento Abu Garcia Revo STX Shimano Curado I have read elsewhere on the Internet people stating that each of these are the "best reel they have ever owned". Anyone out there with one or more of these that can weigh in here? Thanks a million.

I have recently moved up to NH and I am looking for any Bass Clubs in the area. I am living just South West of Lake Winnipesaukee and there must be something around here. Any of you guys/gals local to this area?

Hey Dean, Nice to meet another NH fisherman. I recently moved to Frinklin NH and I have the Pemigewasset River basically in my back yard. Less then a mile from me is the junction of the Pemigewasset River and the Winnipesaukee River where they come together and form the Merrimack River. There is a reservoir, dam, and waterfalls right here on top of me. I am very excited for fishing season to start this year. I am looking forward to the challenge of learning how to fish moving water (pond and lake fishing most of my life). I have a tackel box full of rubber baits and top water lures that I use for lake fishing for large mouth but dont really know where to start tackel wise for moving water. Any helpful pointers here? Thanks

Ever since I was a young child I have had a fishing rob in my hand and I have been fishing a lake or pond somewhere in new England. I have recently moved up into the Lakes Region in New Hampshire and I have a ton of rivers to fish now but here is the thing ... I have no idea how to fish them. Does anyone out there know of any internet resources that talk about tips and techniques for fishing northern rivers? Thanks in advance for the info.
