  1. So the tattoo artist sucked? I knew there had to be an explanation! Ohhhhhhhhh snap!!!! Come on Brett, even you have to laugh at that one. By the way, can your buddy draw me a pic of your face for that inspirational tatt I wanted? ;D ....Tin, I beat you to it.Here's my tat of brett.
  2. HERE'S A PIC OF LBH WHEN HE WAS A KID......
  3. I fished a torney Thurs in R.I. I also saw some beds (smallies)......The weather has them ready ..Water temp was 59-61 deg.
  4. Exactly, it is a run and gun fishery. But also be willing to go back to those areas later on in the day. Crankbaits this time of year too, wiggle warts, wiggle warts, wiggle warts. I disagree.I find myself being a run and gun fisherman about 80% of the time. At Mashpee and some other lakes in our area. It's all about a spot, whether it be rocks, wood ,weeds...etc.There is alot of dead water at mashpee. If I'm fun fishing I'll run all over ,But fishing a torney at Mashpee, there are few streches of bank that I'm not leaving because fish can move up at any minute.....( I hope..!)
  5. I'm still finger painting.. :'(
  6. Fishing at night for smallies...Nothing like it.I like to throw a buzzbait and a 1/2 0z black spinnerbait. In the summer, start fishing before midnight and fish till mourning.Fishing can be absolutely awesome. ...............................
  7. If your fishing from a boat, Throw a 3/8 - 1/2 0z spinnerbait w' #5 gold colorado blade, experiment w' colors of skirts.I make all my own spinnerbaits and the colors I throw are all natural colors that you can't buy at bass pro.Throw it tight right against the bank, and burn it for about 2 feet and kill it,then experiment with retreives ,see what they like that day.Always burn it for the first couple of feet.If your fishing from the bank ,you can't go wrong throwing a weightless, senko, worm ,creature bait..etc.good luck.....
  8. Nice fish.....that shad in it's mouth is a herring.I also fished down the cape Sat...Very slow bite till 9:00 then the wind kicked up a bit.Where I was I could see fish, smallies and largies cruising around wood and mourings in about 9' of water.Caught 11 fish to 3# 5 0z,all on a Rapala DT16.Worked it very quick digging up the sand and rocks on deep drops to 20' deep.I went out Sun afternoon to a shallow lake water temp was 65 deg.Buck bass cruising the bank every where, caught 19 fish to 3# on a home made spinnerbait and a wacky rig senko lots of small fish 12-14 " didn't see any beds ,next full moon you'll start seeing fish on beds, all over the Cape.
  9. I thought it was called WeedHell .... Nice place for numbers.....but lot's of Rats...
  10. I fished torney's on the cape for over 10 years.Whether it was a small club torney,Military bass, freedom trail.I seen only a handful of 4Lb + smallies at weigh in's.Alot of people are hyping the fishing down the cape, come on down to the cape and catch 4lb smallies.....alot of guys don't even know what a 4# smallie looks like never mind a 5 lber.Let's see some pics. 4lb smallies down the cape don't come a dime a dozen..... :
  11. Yes it will.........
  12. ;D ;D ;D
  13. The best way to fish the nip is to stay away during the daylight hours.Get there after 8:00 pm and fish till mourning.Throw a buzzbait or do as I do and Throw a rago rat ,ever so slowly on the surface. There are some giant fish there, and fishing during the day is a really hard time to find them, due to the super shallow water. At night is when they come out and play.So good luck and be safe, dont fish alone after dark.
  14. GOD BLESS THE US..... 8-)
