  1. Buy a couple then send them off to be painted any way you wish.
  2. HAHA, you and your johnson
  3. Brauer... we all know what the number 1 tactic to put fish in the boat is
  4. I wish that rod would snap... its an ugly stick. Its likely getting replaced this year as well as the rod holder flipped around the right way. I only got to use this boat maybe 4 times last year cause I got it so late.
  5. I looked at it heavy for awhile but the lack of GPS functionality turned me away. I spend a lot of time with mapping software for hunting and fishing. When I mark a box thats 20ft off the shoreline in winter I want to know exactly where it is come time to gamble my money.
  6. Thanks for the encouragement. That jig in your avatar lives in my boxes too!
  7. I have a drop shot rig that never leaves the deck. I always have a rod rigged for it because it will catch fish when nothing else will.
  8. Few years ago, susquehanna river in Feb
  9. Ive got word on another in the north east but dont have exact dates yet. This will be held in 2013 http://capitalcitybass.com/page12
  10. I knew AIG would never fail and when they hit rock bottom on the market I bought all I could. I wish I had 100 times more what I bought originally, I made a quick $1000
  11. x2, I label my homemade wine and cider the same way
  12. Ive been contemplating cutting the lip down on a wiggle wart and then bending it with heat. So affraid to ruin a good bait though. Maybe the next time I scratch off a $500 ticket I can give it a shot.
  13. Good lord, next time I start hearing any greef I am going to redirec to this post
  14. Ive yet to own a suffix line I didnt like. I run suffix braid and suffix mono. If I didnt have about 1500 yards of various sizes of flurocarbon in other applications I would try it too.
  15. Toxic as in if you drink it? I dont think I would try it.
  16. Heres a few I have done recently, some on boss hooks some on siebert hooks/heads and some on regular eagle claw jig heads. I just started into jigs, I used to be a demonstration fly tier.
  17. Why dont you ask someone to fish with you or you fish with them. Most guys are not going to hand over spots. Example... I spent my gas and my time sunday driving around my local lake while its lowered marking structure thats not visible when the water is up. Im not giving those points to even my best friends.
  18. Im glad I dont have to clean all of your reels. I just got bearings in from him yesterday, going in the reel tonight.
  19. I hunted 3 days of archery at home, 5 days in hurricane sandy in a remote camp with no electric or running water in ohio, 1 day of rifle season and never had a shot this season. Ive been at it with mainly archery tackle for 16 years now. Sunday I went to the lake to mark spots to fish. On my way back to the car I took the 1/3 elevation of the ridge following tracks and hoping to maybe see a bedded deer. I walked up on a buck that was at least 160". You cant hunt on sundays in pa currently. I was 25ft at most from this buck. He laid there and watched me walk 300 yards of shorline of the lake then 150 back up to where he was and he never moved till I stopped directly in front of him and stood there making all kinds of noise trying to get video(which I did) even though its on my phone and its really hard to see at the moment.
  20. I think that boat is going to be heavier than you think with a trailer yes. Mine has enough strain with aluminum, same vehicle
  21. I pull a 17ft tracker with a 25hp motor, awd and putting glass behind it.... yeah no
  22. I actually sent BPS an email the other week requesting that their wishlist feature shows sale prices while items are on sale. If I have $30 in braid in my list and it goes on sale for $15 I want to know about it without having to click on it to find out.
  23. A lot of times the local shops have no idea whats big in the bass world. They cator to every type of fisherman. On saturday I stopped in to buy some heads for hair jigs, ive known my local shop owner for 20 years. I made a comment about a bait I wanted. He pulled out a catelog and asked me to mark everything I thought people would want so he could order new stuff and put good stuff on his walls. Told me he planned to spend $10,000 a not be shy cause he wanted to make sure tournament season would do well. He ensured me he would "hook me up"
  24. The "tent" is called a ground blind. An orange hat would probably be enough, orange stands out from a long distance. Not only that your odds of being shot are VERY LOW. Guys like me wear full camo while archery hunting and guys are running around shooting squirrels out of trees. If you see someone the best thing you can do is STOP. Announce your presence... "Guy walking through fishing". This is taught in turkey hunting seminars becuase guys are wearing full camo shooting at birds on the ground while sitting on the ground. They teach you to never wave or make movement, you call out to people.
