  1. One to poop on and the other to cover it up with? JK
  2. Im going to do a BPS crank
  3. I could never get away with 2 boats, it would be a relationship suicide. You are correct, its not needed but if I want a boat it has to be one at a time and erie is 4 hours from home.
  4. I can do video, ill get out the playsport. Ill take it out and run it in the creek in front of my parents before and after. Im going to do this on a bait I really dont care about so lets not expect world changing results
  5. Ill put one to the test this weekend, we shall see what it does
  6. Id add whatever additional funds and buy the pixy r that I want
  7. 1 - Shad - Because it looks like shad and crappies 2 - Clear - Changes color with its surroundings 3 - Black/Chartruse
  8. After the beating I took on buying baits other than LC here the other day Im surprised it doesnt look like LC's retail list in here. Lipless - I tend to look for custom painted baits, Cordell Suspending Spots Shallow - SK 1.5, Balsa crafted baits Deep - DT Rapala Series, Wiggle Warts Jerks - Rapala on the cheap or smithwick, LC if I have money to burn, I like clear ones, theyre harder to find Top - LC Sammys, Scum Frogs, Rage Frogs, Ghostbaits Frogs, Spooks, Jitterbugs on the river
  9. Buy a bass pro or cabelas gift card in the grocery store then use it online.
  10. Its the same way in all outdoor sports. Its like the rage broadhead, they have a MASSIVE amount of pro staff. Off camera many are not shooting that head. Im gonna go out on a limb here and say Ehrler 9 out of 10 times is likely fishing an LC. Nothing beats free and their lineup surely can satisfy most days on the water.
  11. My only regret with my current boat is I want more motor. My little 25hp 2 stroke will get you there and its not TERRIBLE for the lakes I fish but I jump in my buddies identical boat, a little newer and he has a 60, my next boat if its a tin will have a 60 at minimum. That baby jumps right out of the hole and is PLENTY fast enough. Id love to have a big truck with a 20' boat and a 225 to go warp speed across a lake like erie but its not in the cards right now. Any boat is better than no boat. I keep telling myself that the only way to really own the boat I would want is to win it.
  12. Find the custom color and have someone paint it for you, thats easy enough.
  13. more likely than not fouled plugs
  14. Id like to be able to pay an extra fee to have my reel come with better bearings or just up the price a tad. I mean seriously, if Daiwa was putting boccas into almost every reel they make surely they would get a price break. Id rather spend $10 at buy time than $30 later on. Id also like to see the diagram in the box from multiple angles Id like the option to put a handle from one reel onto any other reel within the same manufacturer Id like every spool in the same manufacturer to also be interchangeable
  15. FFO?
  16. I dont notice this difference so much as some and I think its because I live on what is affectionately considered the most over pressured lake in pa. It forces me to fish with intent even on days when there is no money involved. A good day on this lake would be five fish in the midst of full blown summer. These fish have seen it all. My suggestion to you is to leave the local small ponds as yeah you might be catching a lot of fish but its setting your expectations at an artificial level. I have a local pond that only a few have access too. I can put 5lb fish on the bank there all day. Its so small that you have to wait after landing a big one till it calms back down but its CHOKED full of big largemouths and gills. You can catch gills on a bare hook! Im not saying fish in a mud puddle but go somewhere that offers you more of a challenge. Its kinda like the person who gets into trout fishing, at first they wanna catch a bucket full in the first hour of "opening day" stocked fish. That same person ten years down the line is either bored with it or they have likely moved onto a C&R fishery or took up fly fishing.
  17. I bet if you open both up side by side there would be very little difference. Almost all of my daiwa internals look the same. My new lexa has a shaft on the spool extending through the pinion gear. I guess they thought that must make a difference and followed suit. The antireverse is a little different but not much. The jump in price between the lexa 100 and the aird is simply due to composite vs aluminum frame in my opinion. Its odd to me that both of those reels are that price there. Can you order on ebay? The laguna is $59 here. The aird $89
  18. Id like to see the dual brake system on every reel. Centrifugal brakes and magnetic
  19. I need to order more heads myself. I have some promised to another guy and need a few more in my collection in the 3/8, 3/4 and 1oz department
  20. The motor on the back of my boat is a 92, same as the boat. Its never been torn apart from what I can tell. I replaced the impeller/housing in early fall. It still seems to be running well.
  21. If you want to do above and below with one cam this is where the kodak shines as its waterproof out of the box, no need for a case. HOWEVER, dont take it below 10ft. If that go pro is truely waterproof in its case at any depth I would be taking it and attaching it to a rope or 80lb braid. Drop it down in some of my fishing holes and see exactly what it looks like down there.
  22. Easiest way to remember port vs starboard... port has 4 letters, left has 4 letters
  23. https://www.rangerboats.com/rangercup/payouts.cfm
  24. No but heres the real kicker. Lets say you come in as a boater.... you win... if youre fishing out of a ranger youre likely looking at about an extra $50,000 in money if the boat is new enough.
  25. I remember a lure that was made by I think powerbait that was half a crankbait and the back was a scented mid body to tail, almost like the earliest version soft body swimbait. I TORE UP smallies and trout. I found it in a little backwoods store. I never was able to replace it.
