  1. Just wait till you get to the shipping part and see that exhorbant fee. I shipped a frame backpack from PA to CO in the summer. $70+, I quoted $25 thinking that would be high. Selling online isnt really worth it anymore unless you know what its going to cost to ship up front. These days of listing a price and saying it includes shipping is over unless you wanna lose big time.
  2. I just bought a lexa 100 and I dont think its going to handle light baits well, nothing like a pixy would
  3. I buy what I want based on how it feels to me and stands up to what I put it through. If a $50 rod works and works well, it doesnt hurt my feelings that it only cost $50. I also want to have baits that effectively cover the situations that I want to fish. One brand certainly isnt going to cover it all nor is one style. I want a crank with a tight wobble, one with a wide searching wobble, one that sinks, one that suspends, one that floats. I want a spinnerbait that looks like an arig coming through the water, I want another that mimics one single fish. I want a topwater that walks the dog, one that pops, one that gurgles, one that buzzes... My point is, I know what I want to do and for me I can take a recommendation about what might do it however that doesnt mean I run out and buy that exact item.
  4. two batteries for 56lbs of thrust... it would be gone
  5. I would scrap that idea and either rent a storage space that fit the whole boat or simply one that fit the tackle and then buy a top of the line cover for the boat.
  6. First things first. I would lay some form of an ibeam in there, be it a aluminum or wood 2x2 to hopefully stop the flex Starboard is awesome material, very costly though
  7. Youre welcome! His comment was a reference to the movie "Back to the Future"
  8. If you wipe firefox's config you will lose everything, but it should resolve your password issue. Norton actually has a very low following in the IT world. I recommended avg because I manage 1000 users of a university daily, people who look at all kinds of stuff and between malwarebytes and avg 2013 nothing has ever infected my network. Yes avg is antivirus and if youre using it for your personal use, it is free. I would... backup your bookmarks(export them) delete firefox remove any trace of firefox from program files and anywhere else it might linger install avg free scan with avg reinstall firefox import bookmarks That would hopefully fix it...then... reboot your flux capacitor
  9. Yeah I am at a loss without seeing what might be going on more in depth. Did you install AVG 2013 also? You would have to wipe out firefox's config file to get a fresh start. It saves that even when you uninstall incase you come back.
  10. Our Club holds our lunker tournaments every wednesday in July on Sayers Dam in Howard Pa(Fished by FLW College in 2011) 630-930pm - boat check starts at 6... $5, we typically payout top 4 with first place getting cash and 2-4 getting prizes
  11. I should also be getting information sometime in the next couple of months on one for the allegheny river
  12. Singles - Lake Raystown PA - NO COANGLERS http://www.fishing4five.com/application.html
  13. BTW basscat, no link to the actual site, it redirects me back here
  14. joined in the flw one
  15. Also make sure firefox is not in permanent private browsing mode Tools > Options > Privacy: Use custom settings for history Deselect Always use private browsing mode Alternatively you can type about:config into the url bar, tell it youll be careful when it asks then filter on privatebrowsing(one word), make sure the setting says false, if not double click it to turn it to false.
  16. Firefox .... go to Tools->Options->Security, click on the saved passwords button and see if any are in there. The cache may have been dumped. I would install AVG 2013 free also, it will catch items malwarebytes doesnt and visa versa.
  17. TW sent out an email about a week ago to join their league
  18. I would do that but keep in mind that this is my fly tying stock also so these necks the upper feathers are very small as theyre higher quality, were talking hackles for size 24 flies, it would look goofy. I understand your theory on the flare also my thoughts when tying these a lot of the time is to make it sleek however a fishes tail does naturally flare. These feathers also lay very strait by nature, my thought is a prefer the sheen to show outwards from my background in tying streamers.
  19. Something is wrong with his site right now, I just sent him an email because theres no add to cart button on certain products. You take one of his baits and put it in one hand and put one from another company in the other and you can just feel a difference.
  20. ghostbaits handpoured phantom shads
  21. prizes do not all have to come from the bass industry my club for our lunker pays out the top 4, only first gets the money the other three... 2 - usually a $50 gift card to bass pro or cabelas 3 - usually a $25 gift card to a local business like ace hardware or lowes 4 - usually two coupons to subway for a sandwhich expand your horizon id hit any one and everyone. hardware stores, pizza shops, mcdonalds... have a 50/50 raffle the day of the event, take the 50% from the raffle and use it to buy prizes for next year its all a tax write off for them and costs them very little if anything
  22. Ok guys, so I made video incase something infact happened. I tested two cranks I didnt care about, newer ones, I am certain this tactic only works on certain baits. The cheap Matzuo crank the only thing that happened was it lost its finish, the bps crank, did absolutely nothing. I even pushed the time limits. Starting with ten seconds, going to 30, then a minute then a full on five minute boil. These newer baits and or only certain baits must be able to do this. The two I tested did absolutely nothing so I am not going to post the video.
  23. Heres two more of my personal baits i just did. I have the water boiling for the boiled crankbait thread but I wont be able to test swim. The air temp is 8 degrees and the stream is a raging muddy mess.
  24. Lookn good boys, you can send both of those baits this way
