  1. Can you not fish in canada waters until bass season starts? Thats goofy. Here a season only means you cant harvest them, which Im not worried about.
  2. xpress?
  3. I think it depends on whats going on where the swing is happening. Theyre not all equal. An outside swing that smashes into rip rap isnt the same as an outside swing that smashes into a mud flat. Look at a creek, on the swings everything gathers on the outside.
  4. I think everyone is thinking back to last season when brandon culled in a different states waters and lost his limit.
  5. according that kvd has yet to even cull

  7. I need more information. Couple things I could find, the dam is releasing water and generating electricity, the water temp is near 50 and it rained last night. Its currently 46 degrees with clear skies. I crank deep, guessing that its holding warmer water down there.
  8. Its hard not to wanna just waylay them as soon as they blow up but you gotta hold back a second. I also grab the hooks and bend them out a little on every frog.
  9. The season should cover north to south east to west if they truely want the number one angler. They will have to be proficient in all situations. Spring - start in the south and progress north Summer - start in the north and head midwest Fall - Midwest Winter - Cali
  10. gray solarbats amber strike kings
  11. I can see the argument for two, makes sense. But I am not going to go out and buy multiple $10 baits, throw it, hate the action of the lure and have zero confidence to turn around and sell it at a loss. Two ten dollar baits, by the time I sell it, pack it, drive to ship it if I get half back that would be great. Most times thats not the way it goes, I refuse to fill my boxes with anything I dont have confidence in, storage in my boat is not nearly as big as some.
  12. I see youre in PA. Do you have a boat?
  13. It looks to me like you rely heavily on the jig and or soft plastics bite. I dont see any 20ft crankbaits. Zero swimbaits, no spoons. Hey what do I know, fish what you like? Looks like you are a strait up power fisherman. I see the stuff to drop shot but not the smaller baits.
  14. Buy whatever the biggest motor they offer is, especially if financing.
  15. The come out of my local lake and run as far up the creek as they can get 40 miles easy.
  16. I dont know how anyone can come out and just say danner hands down. Number one, theres MUCH better boots than a danner, if youre gonna spend the money you miles well go for a schnees, meindl, kenetrek. Danner is not what it was even 15 years ago. Also, this kind of goes without saying but theres no one boot for every situation. Youve gotta consider are you crossing water, are you somewhere your dealing with sub zero temps. As much as I love a muck arctic I would never actually wear it in the arctic.
  17. Why would you buy multiples of a bait youve never tried?
  18. Things are definitely changing, how can you say its not? One that comes to mind is the burner, before that spinnerbait came out most people seemed to want solid thump more than a profile. People are definitely thinking outside the normal spinnerbait but its not something thats advertized heavily. Heck we have spinnerbaits with four blades on them now.
  19. Ill be honest, I struggle out deep unless something specific is pulling me there be it a channel swing, a culvert under a road bed. When I can key in on a feature like that I can do much much better. But finding fish in open water is problem for me. My boat simply doesnt pack the technology of side and downscan to get the entire picture. If you can cruise along and say, well that tree over there as eight bass and about nine million shad on it, its pretty "bassy" lookn.
  20. Well that just about settles it then huh
  21. I guess I should note also, the reason i read this was wrong is that it doesnt effect the inertia of the spool and it can cause the line to slip leading to backlashes.
  22. I have bps braid on one of my rods, got a smoking deal last year. It fishes about like any other braid on the market. Its not nearly as supple as Suffix out the gate though.
  23. Which do you do? I know Ive been thumbing the line but Ive read recently this is wrong and could cause issue. Is there a right or wrong answer?
  24. You know going into powerball that youre putting your money down for a chance. I can see sort of a resemblence but once they take your $3 they then dont get to sell the rights to your email a thousand times over. I once worked for a company who sold 8,000 email addresses from a wrestling company to a company that makes wrestling gear for $15,000. The email addresses didnt vanish when they sold them, they got a copy of it, sold again many times over.
  25. Yes I have but in most instances selling said information wasnt as easy. I cant even imagine what most peoples email accounts would look like without spam filters.
