Was rainy yesterday but we still caught them shallow on Slow worked senko's. Talked to a few people who were catching on spinnerbaits. The water temps were 58 around the 147 bridge. The coming cold front should knock that down quite a bit.
I will not be able to make it, Feb 3rd I was laid off from my company of 10 years. I hired on with another drilling company and head offshore Feb 27th for 4 weeks. Good luck to everyone fishing it! Hope to meet yall some other time.
Today just north of cassel boykins the water was down to 57. I caught 5 or so flipping a lizard into the shallow brush, a guy I talked to at the ramp said he caught them good on traps.
Well last week I was laid off from the oil field. But today I landed a new job with another Drilling Company. I should still be able to make the road trip to Toledo. The new job starts the end of March so now that I have a job lined out will be working on my professional fishing career.
