The Classic is not going anywhere.
BPT is a nice trendy format but their marketing team is putting their foot in their mouth a lot right now. First the commercial dogging on the traditional 5 fish format making it seem like the anglers are doing every thing but stomping on the fish. Then the video where they showed the career earnings of their anglers versus the Bass and FLW anglers.
Rayburn has been tough for me lately but my last trip out there landed me a tagged bass from 2018. I didnt even realize that you could get something from last years tags and ended up with $500 cash, a pair of Costas and a new Falcon fishing rod. Not too shabby for a $100 entry fee to fish on two lakes!
Sounds like things are heating up nicely on Toledo, with 59 over 10 caught so far this year.
I am in the process of starting up my own business because offshore work is not looking good. I can not go into the details on this forum so find me on Facebook.

What catt is hinting at is that this is a 180,000+ acre lake with 1200 miles of shore line. There are many good spawning flats. No many people are going to give away their best spawning areas on a public forum. Its fairly easy to find spawners if you are looking in the correct area of the lake during the right part of the spawn.
Well guys with 81 fish going over 10 in the last year, Toledo has been ranked the #1 fishery by Bassmaster.
We also have #5 on the list within easy driving distance.

Went out today and caught about 7 black bass on crankbaits. Also caught 15-20 White bass. Fish were on main lake points in 18-25 FOW.
Yesterday we had a boat idle right up to where we were fishing and idle around us graphing the spot. I like to call that bent rod scouting.
In the paulo gaucho area the fish were being caught on creature baits. Push your boats as far up into the trees as possible and target cypress trees. You spend as much time hung up as fishing but thats where they are.
No the spawn will be on for the next couple of full moons. They maybe be scattered out around all the newly flooded brush. I caught my fish slow working wacky style senkos.
