  1. Thanks for the free marketing there bird dog, I have just sold one of the ML and have MH and ML left. I can't go as low as 102.99 for one due to the price of shipping, but can do definitely sell the MH and the ML for $200 if you are interested new2BC4bass. It will give you another reason to add a new reel . The MH can be great for throwing weightless tubes and worms. Let me know if interested and good luck on your search.
  2. I have a few Kistlers I am trying to sell. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/97520-kistler-spinning-rods-for-sale-price-lowerednew-pics-added/
  3. It depended on the locations too. I live in the Dallas area and some Wally Worlds have Falcon Bucoo and KVD rods, shimano reels, the other ones have all Shakespeare and Pinnacle stuff.
  4. The Revo S is a great reel. Nice castability too!
  5. I guess I may not have given enough time to warm up to it. But, I have a HSTA coming. The twitch bar is something I bet won't even get used by a lot of fishermen, it just looks cool.
  6. I got two words to say about the Exceler, save up. The Megaforce feels like a better reel. You may want to find a TDA 150 on sale if you want to stay with Daiwa. I had one and gave it away to my father. He loves it because it was free. It is not a bad starter reel though.
  7. How quickly do the reels sell? Are there any other reel deals during the classic that worth not waithing for the reel trade in?
  8. Do you have to purchase the rod and reel at full price? Lets say you find the reel on sale or you find the rod on sale. Does the rebate still apply? The rebate does not state you have to pay original price on the items. Anybody know?
  9. I recently wond one on Ebay and was pretty psyched up. Those reels look very nice online, but when you hold them in your hand, its a different story. They are cheaply built. The cool thing about them is the handle, and even that feels a little cheap. I will probably give it to someone that has a birthday coming up and save up for the Tierra or even the HSTA.
  10. Just do a search on them. You won't find a lot of resources, but the ones you do are very informative. They have a few sites like Ultimate Bass and the Bass Fishing Forum, no comparisons to this one. These rods are a great alternative if you don't want to spend a ton of money to get a good rod. Some people just like to spend more money, its in their nature. Its like saying "why buy a Caddy when you can by a Chevy?" People perceive value differently. The baitcaster reels are not bad either. 8-)
  11. I actually live in Irving, TX and have been to the office. The F-Series are comparable to the older Berkley Lightning Rods. The P-Series are nice rods. They are comparable to the All Star and Castaway rods that usally sell for $75-100. They do not compare to the Loomis and Kistlers by no means. They are probably just a slight step down from the Shimano Crucials. These will probably be my next rod purchase.
