A close friend of mine was up in Northern Wisconsin last weekend.They had a fantastic weekend. Boated 3 fish over 40 inches!.They had numerous other blow ups on their top water baits. The go to bait for them was a Top water lure called "Poes Giant Jackpot" It floats which makes it very easy for novices to use.I'll be going up in a few weeks myself self and I'll be throwing that 100% of the time.

I'd try trolling crawler harnesses with inline planer boards.They're a deadly summer technique.Caught these a couple weeks ago doing just that.

Crooked Creek Tackle makes awsome Tubes and a pretty nice Senko style worm.

wooly buggers are a fine streamer.

Actually these fish were caught on Green Bay.Off of Door County.

So So I guess.Once they get to the boat they get a little attitude.No where close to a Bass imo.

Gave the Bass a rest. I apologize for the quality of the photo's. Left my camera on the kitchen table > So had to use my cell phone.

Not really.The 1 river that's close is has a closed season until July.Across the Bay of Green Bay from me is the Menominee River.It's a prolific smallmouth fishery.I've thought about hiring this guy to learn the system over there.Maybe this fall.Here's the link.Some good info there also. http://www.mikemladenik.com/pages/guide-service.php

Couple of the nicer ones from last weekend. Saw 1 other boat all day.Pretty rare in this day and age.
