  1. Congrats! I also will graduate next week sunday, I have 4 more finals to go. Congratulations!
  2. I have very good success on the amber green/black and dirty craw. I love rage tail!
  3. At my school I took a math class called "Calc for Liberal Arts Majors." It was a joke. Haha, that just sounds like a joke of a class ;D
  4. Those are the only hooks I use now. I use them for dropshotting, wacky rigging, cutbait for cats, and spawnsacs fished on the bottom for trout. Never had any problems with hook ups, like was stated before, you really dont even set the hook.
  5. They call it Business Calc here at school
  6. I got a question for ya, what do you consider the first break out from the bank? also what do you consider the second break from the "creek"? Does the break have to be, say 5 depth foot change or 10 foot change, or can it only be 2 or 3 if you were fishing a real shallow lake? same question for the depth change between the first break and second break. Thanks guys.
  7. I have it spooled up on a new crankbait setup. I have not however used it long enough to give it a fair review, I have not used it for bass fishing yet. The little bit that I did get to use it has been good stuff so far. Cast well, and I feel is underrated in the line strength category (12lb pound seems a lot stronger, more like 14 or 16 strength)
  8. I only had one fish last year that swallowed the hook, I tried the above method, and it didnt work, which normally it does. So I cut the hook as short as possible, and tossed it back. The fish was about 5.5-6lbs, which is pretty darn big for the lake I was fishing. Throwing it back knowing that the hook was still in there, and there was a good chance of it dieing almost made me sick. I still wonder if that fish lived or died.
  9. That's the same thing I thought after watching a little bit of it.
  10. If I were you, I would not be caught dead buying a pair of womens nylons, but thats me. Instead of actually using the nylons get yourself some of this, we use it for spawn sacks and stuff and I know guys that tie sucker guts into sacks with this stuff. http://www.fishusa.com/Blackbird-Spawn-Net-by-Redwing-Tackle_p.html
  11. Hmmm....Ive been fishing mine for far more than one or two years. 4-5 days a week at 4-8hours a day. I have had ZERO problems at all with any of my quantums.
  12. Quantum Energy PT VI in 6.3:1 or 7:1 on top of a St. Croix Legend Tourny Bass TBC70MHF. You would have to do a little bit of shopping to get it for under $400, but it is possible. With this setup you can do almost anything. $300- Quantum Catalyst PT Cast 6.3:1 or 7:1 on top of a Kistler Magnesium/e21/Shimano crucial.
  13. Whole 3" or 4" smelt, cut smelt, cut up "bloaters" are problly the best cut bait I have used, cut up suckers (the fish), sucker guts, and rainbow spawn.
  14. Count me in for WI.
