  1. Still Kicking...
  2. Owner Cutting Point 2/0 or 3/0
  3. It's an iffy one - kind of PG-13 if you ask me, lol.
  4. Same, except far less snow. I see about 2" accumulated on the deck, despite the whiteout conditions last night.
  5. Whenever I stroke a jig like this, I get that Clarence Carter song in my head.
  6. Ugh, 4* F with a wind chill of -13*. That escalated quickly!
  7. About the only complicated thing is aligning the spline on the drive shaft. That and the bulk of the lower unit. It helps to have an extra set of hands for that and feathering the starter when aligning the drive shaft.
  8. I have no clue what is the most producing retrieve. It's all about what is working in the moment for me.
  9. Have you contacted Duckett Rods directly? https://www.duckettfishing.com/registration-warranty
  10. And my 18 month old was exposed at daycare by a teacher. Five days in the pokey for us. Ugh.
  11. That's a well written article, with fairly accurate sizing charts. One thing that has to be considered is seat height along with the torso height of the paddler. I typically run my adjustable paddle at 230 cm, but in my Commander 140 in the captain's perch, I go to 240 cm.
  12. This is a sculling paddle. I actually fished a wooden prototype sent by the maker that sold the design to this company: https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/backwater-assault-hand-paddle
  13. This current spike in cases has been getting to us as well. Plenty of plans canceled, visits curtailed, etc. It is super frustrating. Glad you're okay, and I wish the best for your son and his family.
  14. Slightly colorblind blue, so amber or green work fine for me.
  15. Pegged T-rigged plastic Brush Jigs Spinnerbait Spinnerbait is probably my #1 choice up until the dead of summer.
  16. I don't see anything at BPS that I'd want to use. Full carbon fiber is the way to go. I'm not sure about those hook things. I can't say I've ever wanted something like that. I will say once I went with a bent shaft paddle, I have a very hard time using anything else. Bonus: it doesn't roll when you lay it across your lap. Skulling paddles seem like a good idea in theory, but I carried one in my boat for a full season, and never once used it.
  17. I bought this paddle years ago, before getting a pedal drive Hobie Compass. Many retailers peddle them. ? https://www.atpaddles.com/us/paddles/oracle-carbon
  18. Dude! Wow. Glad you're okay!
  19. Congrats on the promo! Welcome back.
  20. Yearly for me. Completely tearing down a spinning reel is much more complicated than any baitcasting reel, save for a couple that have complicated or hidden frame screws, like some real high end Shimano. As long as you have an exploded parts diagram, a camera, and a reasonable bit of dexterity, you can probably do it yourself. If it seems too deep, then @Delaware Valley Tackle is your best bet.
  21. Their current range includes the U.S., South Africa, Europe, Guam, Japan, Lebanon, New Zealand, and the Philippines., according to Florida Museum.
