  1. Because the crime happened many months ago. Did you assume he just turned in the fish and the paperwork this week? It seems like this thing was sat on or dig up, maybe for publicity, maybe even by his own camp. I'm not trying to argue with you. I said it in the first reply to this, something seems fishy, and it ain't the bass he caught. None of it is how these deals go. He's not that big a deal.
  2. How does it answer my question? I already knew that when I asked.
  3. He can't say anything like that until the legal process is completed. His best bet is no comment, which is what every other criminal would say, lol.
  4. Can we really blame @Tim Kelly? His steering wheel is on the wrong side too.
  5. I wonder why it took half a year for charges to be pressed.
  6. Do you think this would prevent the bail from being flipped by reeling? I'd do the mod to mine just to keep n00bs on the right path to manually flipping the bail closed, lol.
  7. I'm guessing that the alleged claim to the $10,000 purse warranted more than an appearance ticket. Just guessing based on what has been shared already. Couldn't really care less about his fate. He's irrelevant to me.
  8. I've forgotten to open the bail, but none of mine have ever tripped. I do know that this is why surfcasters will cut the bail off if it even has a bail wire.
  9. The bottom on the old toy market dropped out almost a decade ago. I'm glad. Wasn't going to $100 for 50 year old slot cars. They're back to reasonable prices again.
  10. Yeah, I just saw it. Something doesn't add up here.
  11. These one day sales are a myth anymore.
  12. @gimruis I get that, but what are they going to find? Unrecognizable fillets in your freezer. In order for laws to be effective, they need to be enforceable.
  13. I wish you a speedy recovery! Mine aren't ripe enough yet, but I'll be getting the surgery down the road.
  14. How would they enforce that rule?
  15. Seeing as the SMB record has been broken twice in the past few years, as well the LMB record getting obliterated, I'd say no correction is necessary in my state.
  16. Not really, they watch videos of people fishing and know everything about fishing, except they have never fished.
  17. I have a '94 Bass Buggy that's great for taking kids and seniors out on. Things I'd add to yours: Vertical rod holders toward the stern Bow mount TM with an auto deploy and spot lock Don't completely ditch the low fishing seats, but get a back rest style bike seat Kayak J-hooks so you can mothership Long handle landing net Docking pole Learn to use the big OB to control drift You already have the Bimini top Some type of gimbal mount for the graph so you can see it from anywhere Inboard trailer guides for easy retrieves
  18. I don't think it's as critical a spec so much as it is to prevent difficulty in removing the prop. The retainer keeps it from coming loose. Anytime I stayed at a camp site or motel with my boat, I always removed the prop, along with the graphs and tackle, before letting the boat out of my sight.
  19. Thank goodness! We need you to weigh in over here:
  20. It's not to say I never touch the line. Working through wood it can help you feel you bait through the branches. One thing, be careful setting the hook with braid, if you do this. Braid doesn't care about the skin on your index finger.
  21. A little bigger, and I could live there.
