  1. The filters are a site wide setting, there's no way to control individual forums. Pretty sure it is already a feature request. Maybe someday we will be able to do it.
  2. Those Keitechs aren't cheap either. You think the smaller tungsten heads help?

    Fish Eyes

I have a one eyed Sammy that outfishes all other walking spook baits. I always wondered why bother with eyes on a topwater.
  4. I think your decision is gonna come down to some intangible, like the seat on this boat just feels right. You're looking at a couple very nice boats.
  5. I was gonna post this up as well.
  6. Thanks for that, I wasn't sure. Lots of boats coming from China these days. Seems crazy to me that it's cheaper to roto-mold them there, and ship them here, than just do it all here. I already knew the WS boats are US made - I used to be a Wildy pro. One note on the Radar, many smaller guys have said it's a little too big, leg wise. Like it's made for taller people. I never got in one, so can't really comment. As stated above and can't be stated enough: get seat time!
  7. That's hilarious. I'm mod-fast.
  8. I have custom cut sea deck on my Hobie Compass, and it's pretty quiet. Being a SOT, any uncovered plastic can be loud since it's basically an echo chamber on the water.
  9. The Bonafide is probably a better fit for what you describe. It doesn't have the in hull storage, but I find that's really overrated. You'll like the handles better than the Native's. Standing, tracking, and maneuverability is probably about the same. The Bonafide is made here in the USA, which is becoming a rare thing.

  11. I did the same on my bass boat. CG wasn't too pleased about it. It's probably fine on inland lakes. I think the funky letters look better.
  12. Looks good. How much weight do you think you added?
  13. I heard Megastrike for slicking your hair back, and a little JJ's on the wrists and behind the ears was the trick.
  14. Two things, best case that will heal up in a month or so, and worst case you are introducing the risk of a fungus or bacterial infection. If it's a private pond, and you already can identify the fish, what is the purpose of marking it?
  15. Small mouth, big girth, well fed, fast growth rate. Here's one from a managed, and fed population:
  16. We'd be sicker if all this great tackle wasn't profitable for the makers, and it went away.
  17. I try to be kind always in my day to day life. I don't need any recognition, nor do I need to advertise. Kids make it easy to be kind. It's the jerks out there that are the challenge. Be kind to them, and they might surprise you.

  19. I've had them for around 5 years. I have a few other nice sticks, SC LTB, Pinnacle DHC7, but most of my others are from the Avid line. I'm more likely to drop coin on a reel. I have more rods than I will ever need.
  20. I won a 60% off coupon for a Dobyns rod in a tournament. I picked up a 744c and 745c in the Champion Extreme line. Man, they are nice to fish. I wouldn't have spent retail for them. I have tasted the forbidden fruit, lol.
  21. I definitely relate, and most of my rigs are a couple hundred to $500 less. Isn't that funny, spend too little, not good enough. Spend too much, elitist. None of tat could be further from the truth for the person using the gear. It's qwhy people defend their choices so fiercely.
  22. This is a charging system, not a lithium battery.
  23. I don't mind negative reviews, but a great deal of them are based on misuse of a product. "I bought this, and it was terrible at that." Well, it wasn't designed for that. Vanish gets beat up pretty bad here, yet it remains one Berkley's best selling lines. Why? It's very good walleye and panfish jigging line. I have a friend that fishes for BIG smallies on Erie, and has no issues drop shotting with 8# Vanish. I've seen it in person, him landing a 6+ after my PB 5-12. But, I bet you take that line and start skipping senkos under docks and in some cover, and there will be trouble. I think the important part to read into is what the reviewer was doing with the product, and why their experience was positive or negative.
  24. Just curious, what brand? As mentioned, GYCB, Ragetail, and Keitech are a few that seem to always get this right.
  25. You want to get this. Very good producer.
