I don't mind negative reviews, but a great deal of them are based on misuse of a product. "I bought this, and it was terrible at that." Well, it wasn't designed for that. Vanish gets beat up pretty bad here, yet it remains one Berkley's best selling lines. Why? It's very good walleye and panfish jigging line. I have a friend that fishes for BIG smallies on Erie, and has no issues drop shotting with 8# Vanish. I've seen it in person, him landing a 6+ after my PB 5-12. But, I bet you take that line and start skipping senkos under docks and in some cover, and there will be trouble. I think the important part to read into is what the reviewer was doing with the product, and why their experience was positive or negative.
