  1. None, if fishing vertically. In fact, too light is a hindrance. Most times, you want to keep the bait in one place, and let the water add the action.
  2. Straight or Fat 4.5.
  3. GYCB Shad Shaped Worm (sinker), Jackall Crosstail Shad (floater), and Roboworm (Floater) are three I have good success with. I have a few bags of the YUM Killshot, and it looks awesome. Can't tell you if ti floats or not since I haven't fished them yet.
  4. They're super easy to repair. Look it up on the youtubes!
  5. 6# Tatsu, 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4 oz. Heavier for vertical drops, or when you want to keep the bait in place. #1 Gamakatsu Drop/Split Shot or Owner Mosquito hooks. Any small wormy or fishy shaped bait. Here's the important part: when you want to do nothing, pick a floating bait. When you want to add the jiggle, pick a sinking bait.
  6. The devil's lettuce. LOL. The view from my deck.
  7. I get my kix from the local skate shop, but you can order online, too: https://www.krudco.com/collections/footwear I generally stick to the discount rack, but I did spring for the DC Lynx reissue. Most often, sneakers are $45-80. If you're not skating them, they last forever and offer good support. I personally recommend Etnies Fader or Marano and Vans Pro Sole Suede.
  8. Pink is my second favorite color, after green. In just about every other culture, pink is masculine. That reel is lit. I'd fish with it.
  9. This! Here's one way to catch a finicky bass on a bed. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/dropshot-bedding-bass.html
  10. I heard you the first time.
  11. Get another kit, do both sides.
  12. Ned Kehde from In-Fisherman. It was a way to reuse broken senkos.
  13. A single pad eye, strategically located, would resolve your issue.
  14. Not in a million years would I think this is a good idea. If you're that bad at it, time to wear a PFD.
  15. I really agree with this, except I START at 1/2 oz. Pretty sure my results are well documented here.
  16. Not all. The issue is that stability is a design priority, but speed is not as high on the list, primarily due to the propulsion devices. This why I like to find quality designs. The Wilderness Systems Commander is on such bot. Sill fast, and super stable. The Hobie compass is another. There's many times where paddling is easier than pedaling, and that boat is quick. I look at some of these alternate propulsion hulls, and I think to myself, "I would NEVER be able to paddle that thing, let alone car top it!" Supply and demand. The hype is all about alternative propulsion these days. I said it years ago that alternative propulsion will drive hull design. Why? Because you don't need as efficient a hull if you slap a motor on it. The really good companies do pay attention to it. It's why I ride what I ride.
  17. Become an influencer. I'm only here for likes and subs. Seriously, though. I like to sit back and watch the mayhem. Nothing really ever jumps out at me as game changing. It's just cool to see what's new.
  18. Wow, get well soon!
  19. Looking for some game changer to crush it in 2019 with their content.
  20. I've fished for panfish with it. Not many brookies other than one creek ,way on the other side of the city. I have creeks with salmon, browns, and steelhead runs in them, so no 3 wt. there, lol.
  21. I have a little 7' 3wt, and @TnRiver46 is right, it's not easy to cast. A 5/6 would suit your needs better.
  22. I hear you. Have you seen the rigging bullets from YakAttak? That's probably your backing solution. By the way, that's a pretty sweet trailer setup. Are riser/cross bars custom?
  23. Don't want to spend a lot? Get a complete. The owner of this company is a buddy of mine I've known since we were kids. https://www.amazon.com/stores/node/13180987011?_encoding=UTF8&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=Wild Water&ref_=bl_dp_s_web_13180987011
