  1. What is that?
  2. Until you resolve this, you can make all the changes you want, but that will still fail.
  3. I think you bit on a fish story, unless he was referring to the merp.
  4. Yet we're told that fake eye spots are meant to scare predators. I think we think too much of the eyes we put on the baits. Easier to blame not getting bit on the eyes than it is to admit we're in the wrong spot.
  5. "To repeat these options, press zero" lololololol
  6. "Caller #30, you're on the air here at WFSH 90.9 FM!"
  7. See if Lew's will sell you a handle from Mach Crush.
  8. Ragetail Spacemonkey is such a good bait. So versatile.
  9. If you saw a cloud of fry, the male is irrelevant, and more likely a threat. Once they're free swimming, they're on their own.
  10. They look right on a C5, though. Perfectly round would not have had that low and wide persona.
  11. Anything 1000 sized or bigger will work, with 2500 being the most versatile for all bass fishing.
  12. It looks like you have schmutz on your lens ?
  13. No, I'm after one boat. I'm fully aware of the compromises. There's five pages documenting it. I don't want a boat that needs two or more feet of water to float, and apparently there's a BEVY of them with bay boats being one of the fastest growing segments in the industry. What surprised me was the draft of some well known "bass" boats was deeper than boats deemed worthy of big water. The 240 I test drove was 1001% more capable than any bass boat I've been in, so I don't feel like one spec like draft is something you can use to judge what the hull can handle. It just also happens to be a target for what I want. If I didn't care about draft, any center console boat with a casting platform would do.
  14. I think we've taken care of the original question, and wandered into seeking internet attention. We're done here.
  15. In fact, this started with me showing Michelle two boats in person, both Lunds - Pro-V Bass and Pro Guide, both 20 footers. She thought they were tin can junkers, lol. I'm not really into the aluminum bay configs. They really are inshore oriented, and many are just that company's bass hull with a center console. I'd actually be happy with a 18' center console jon, but they lack the refinement she's after. I don't think tin is on her radar at all. Basically, I'm looking for an on the water mullet: business in the front (fishing), party in back.
  16. I'm thinking simply to stay within a materials price target and this is a place where a neglected bearing will take away from that smoothness. A bush will always be smooth. Pretty sure someone like @Maico1 isn't going to neglect it.
  17. I'm following you. 99% that say flip mean pitch. I was just poking fun.
  18. If you know you are where there pike, all of the above will eventually work. When it doesn't, work they are just turned off. They may turn on like a light switch. When they're on, it can be pretty nuts.
  19. I didn't have any success tournament fishing until I decided to have fun first. I think it's key to long term membership in a club/trail and success.
  20. Where did you buy it? Did you ask them? How about Old Town customer service? https://www.oldtowncanoe.com/customer-service
  21. Are your wrists strong enough to handle the extra weight? ?
  22. Fish Grips are always a very good idea since they prevent drops. I wouldn't get too bent out of shape over a small hole in the fleshy parts of the premaxillary process. They heal in about a weeks time. There's a risk of damaging the some of the cartilage though, so you really need to be careful there, even if you use Fish Grips. The best answer is avoiding it altogether but it is still WAY better than hooking them behind the gills, as I see much more frequently in pics of fish on the scale. Now you're messing with their breathing apparatus. These are the ones you want: https://www.thefishgrip.net/shop_the_fish_grip.php#.YILb9ehKiF4
