  1. Yes WildBill, there are smallmouth in the lake. There is one dock that you are only allowed to fish 100 feet or more from. Thanks Bass_Akwards, I will try that.
  2. I have a general question for all of you bass crazy people out there. I just moved to Northern California (from Southern California) and started to fish a lake that has a rocky and sandy bottom and not much cover for largemouths. It is late May now and I was wondering the best way to fish the lake and what tackle would be recommended? Thank you in advance for your help. Regards,
  3. I live in Northern Cali now, but lived in Southern Cali for years. There is a man made lake called Laguna Lake about 1 hour north of San Diego (In the city of Laguna.) I've caught many 5 to 8 lb largemouth bass there. Someone caught a 14 pounder last summer out of that lake!
  4. I voted other as well. Not being able to go is the thing that sticks out in my head.
  5. Thank you for the warm welcome! Someone had asked where I am from originally. Central New Jersey, Jackson specifically. Thanks again everyone. I look forward to being a member here.
  6. Glad to make everyones acquaintance. I am originally from back east where I was raised on largemouth bass fishing. Lived in Southern California for a spell and now have moved to Northern California. I am very close to Lake Oroville, which is supposed to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in California. I can't wait to go after some of those bucket mouths real soon! Seems like a real nice forum. Glad to be here. Take Care,
