  1. I stopped by shy beaver this weekend, water was almost 50 way back in the towards the creek , but was only about 44 off the end of the dock. Water was pretty dirty. Guys I talked to said the water was about the same on the main lake too. A guy caught a 50 inch muskie out of Canoe creek last year. He was reeling in a trout and bam! It was in the paper, I think it was on the first day! Jim
  2. I use home made ones that I make, I might have to get some cavitron's though! white, black, and chartruse. Jim
  3. Love the mystery lake idea. I think the first couple of classics were like that. I really think that Jerry will be good for BASS, and I hope everything goes well for him! Jim
  4. 1. Lipless crank (red eye, spots, etc.) 2. shad rap 3. shakey head (4"-7" worm) number three could go to a 3inch grub too.
  5. I think it might be harder, just from increase in fishing pressure alone. There might not be as many "weekend anglers", but the ones who are out there seem to be better equipped, and have waaaay more oppertunities to gain knowledge on bodies of water and specific techniques. Jim
  6. I really liked the baby sliding down the window.
  7. I would ask him for any tips on boat control and positioning. Thanks Keri. Jim
  8. 31. My wife says I act much younger though. Jim
  9. Points and steep rock. The steep stuff is usually on the channels. Look for ledges, under 20'. I crank these alot that time of year, bagleys DB3 and Rapala dt20, but last year I got some on shakey heads too. I fish mostly between MM 19 and 26. March is pretty early, Water is still gonna be pretty cold! Good luck! Jim
  10. had a good time on raystown last year, i'd be up for another one...... raystown is tough, never been to sayers. lets do it. Jim
  11. rattlin rap any day. I have a whole box of rattle baits and not a trap in the box. Jim
  12. I use power pro on a spinning rig for walleye jigging, but I don't really like the stuff. I love the sensitivity, but I don't really care for how it handles(noise, wrapping around the tip and guides). I can cast farther on the same rig with mono. To me, it is just a tool. Even if it's a tool I don't like using, when it works it's great. Jim
  13. I don't know about rape or not, I don't put a lot of stock in an underage girl illeagally in a bar too drunk to even know what was going on. He may be a scumbag, iBut I will be watching the steelers and the cheeseheads sunday.... AND SO WILL YOUR TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least the good people of Dallas can see some good football in that fancy new house. BTW Brady does have an illegitimate child. Jim
  14. the ocean.. immigrant song is a close second, and when the levee breaks is awesome. Jim
  15. ultralight ugly stick, reel was junk, but the rod cleaned up like new! (it's the wifes trout rod now!) caught a 9/16 craftsman wrench on a crankbait once. Hooked it through the box end! made repeated casts in case there was a whole tool box there but no luck! Jim
