  2. lol awesome.
  3. Why does that sign make me hungry.
  4. im sure there is a bar at the lodge. If not , there is gonna be a bar at campsite 30.
  5. i use 17# and 20# 100% trilene flouro. When using KVD's Line conditioner, the line comes off so much smoother. i dont have that much trouble with it in the first place, but after a day or too with no use the line will retain alot of memory, but the conditioner fixes that.
  6. Looks like that one has a tumor
  7. its gonna be killer. i cant wait. What is it now,10-11 days. CJ keep that weather over there nice and right and we will see ya soon
  8. lol what makes it worse , im a Bears fan. lol BOOOO Packers. Booooo Steelers.
  9. Awesome job Gavin. Hats off to CJ as well for raisng a kid to love a sport as much as we all do. It wont be no time when you will be coming home and the boats gone and Gavin is at the wheel. lol
  10. Id like to take all the braid in the world and drop a humongous deuce right on top of it. i cant stand the stuff. As far as crankbaits go, i love flouro. 100% Trilene to be specific. Get a little further down and its wicked abrasion resistant. I still like mono too. Its cheaper and serves the purpose.
  11. Im calling BS on this one.
  12. i had 2 reels stolen once out of the back of my truck. Funny thing is that they took the time to take my reels off of my rods. Kind of ticked me off. Apparently my rods wasnt good enougth for him. But my size 14 old smelly generic Wal Mart work boots were right up his alley. He also took my wifes steering wheel cover(leopard print), seat covers(leopard print), and her air freshners..
  13. oh we can fry. If there is one thing a fat boy from WV can do, its find a way to fry his food.
  14. Personally i believe not just anybody can be a pro angler. The determination and commitment are second to none in any sport. Physically demanding? Not as much at mentally, but have you ever threw a jerkbait or a deepdivin crankbait all day. Then multiply that day for 4 straight days of tournaments. Alot more physically demanding than one might believe. Not to mention the practice days leading up too it. 8-12 tournaments ,it adds up. The mind set of the top pros is truly a marvel. Id like think of myself as one hell of a stick. I know i can fish everyday and love it, but to be consistently competitive day in and day out, with the amount of money they fish for on the line, knowing your family is depending on you to catch fish, WOW. They are incredible.I had a melt down myself this past weekend. I lost 2 big fish at the boat. This is a local club tournament with about $600 bucks on the line, i flipped out. It was worthy of Ike himself. But back to the topic,i think there are just some people who have a knack for it, and have the ability to learn and APPLY what they have learned in pressured situations.
  15. Bought several packs of the 4 inch shaky/dropshot worm. 8 in a pack. Havent even opened them yet. 100% biodegradeable so thats a plus. Im sure they will catch fish. Will let you know in ther near future.
  16. lol thats frickin awesome.
  17. Thanks, around here it takes a dozen or so crappie for a one man meal. Hopin' i'm on to bigger and better things down there for at least one short crappie fishing tour. Ill gladly help you eat any crappie you catch.
  18. And as far as scareing them off, i have witnessed coyotes eating coyotes, so my guess is that it wouldnt work.
  19. i think Coyote pelts are going for $30 a peice here in WV. I wish i would find 50 of them strung along a fence. Id be a skinning Mother Trucker.
  20. Thats sounds cool as hell.
  21. I know how you feel man. Im super stoked. My wife is tired of hearing about it and cant wait to get me out of the house. I guess her b/f is wanting to come up. She still dont understand why a man needs 10 diffrent rods for diffrent presentations. She has figured out that Lucky Craft and MegaBass means alot of money and she not so happy with that part. But back to the subject, Kentucky is going to be a blast. I hope yall boys are ready for an awesome trip.
  22. set the camper up yesterday, got it all cleaned up and ready for the trip. even took a 15 minute nap in it just to test out the beds. Looks like everthing is a go. Anyone caught tampering with the camper while in Kentucky(Burley), will be beaten with soda cans in socks until they are no longer breathing.
  23. My computer is not letting me see the image. Ill check it out when i get home. Im sure its fantastic if burley posted about it.
  24. Did you paint The Beast's head like a B-ball. Because a basketball is way smaller than that melon
