I love being a bears fan living in steeler country right now. Even after the first week with 4 int, they still had a chance to win. Things are looking good for the monsters of the midway. Sucks for B. Urlacher though. Finally was 100% healthy and now the wrist.

Fished a little creek behind my parents house yesterday. Its full of undersized smallmouth, rock bass(redeye), suckers, etc. I was throwing a tiny Rebel popper . I have caught 2 fish on 1 lure before, but only once before. First cast, lure hits the water and BAM. 10-12 inch smallmouth crushes it. I notice a bigger smallmouth 12-14 following.I play the fish a little and BAM, the second one hammers the lure hanging out of the first fish mouth. Got both of them in. I thought it was cool.Took a picture and casted a second time. BAM! Little fish, can tell right away its a redeye. Halfway in i notice there are 2 fish on there again. Both redeys this time. No monsters on either cast but back to back doubles on consecitive cast is a first for me. Just thought i would share.

its just 1 game guys. Cutler always due for 1 or 2 bad games a year. Lets just hope he got it out of his system. Good news is, we played frickin terrible and we still had a chance to win. Defense looked stellar except for vasher. How is Urlachers wrist? I havent heard anything else on it.

sorry its taken so long to get back to ya wayne but it was WV. Gonna be taken some fly fishing trips here soon in PA though.

Finally got to do some fishing last night. Didn't exactly slay them, but it was well worth it. Only fished 5 hours or so. I think we caught somewhere between 12 -15 cookie cutters. Mostly on Series 3 cranks and One knockers. I was just excited to get back on the water. Stress level dropped dramatically.Just glad to have a few moments of fun.

sittin here at the laundry mat and realizing that it has been nearly 2 months since i have really gotten to fish. weekdays are completly taken up by work and weekends are the only time i get to see my pregnant wife and do things that need to be done(i.e. laundry and grocery shopping). my stress level is through the roof. its hard to imagine that some water , poles, and little green and brown fish have this much of an impact on my life. god i miss it. im done crying now. my laundry is done

Personally i dont trim or fan my weedguard. I fish some pretty gnarly timber and it would be hang up after hang up if i trimmed. I think it just depends on how thick of cover your fishing. I good hook set will have no problem hooking a fish through a thick weedguard. To answer adclem, i use nothin but 100% flourocarbon when pitching a jig. I have tried braid, but have had several break off's at hookset. Probably dont need to set a hook as hard as i do, but its a hard habit to break. Plus Trilenes 100% flouro is super abrasive resistant. Especially when your dealing with wood. It all depends on what cover your fishing and your personal style of fishing that depends on whether to trim or not or whether to use braid or flouro.

yeh many a insect fell victim to me and a few window spiders we had around the house. Those spiders ate like kings. i love catching grasshoppers for them. There legs would kick every second they were in the web

Recently watched this movie called the Corndog man. I think it was an independent movie that came out in 1999 i believe. One of the funniest movies ive seen in a while. Its really not a comedy, but the one liners are frickin awesome. Has a real good back story to it which all unfolds at the end. Main character reminds you alot of Buford t Justice(jackie Gleason) from smokey and the bandit. Alot of profanity, which i am a huge fan of. I highly recommend it Full of awesome quotes.
