  1. leaving the hook in is completely harmless and is surely the way to go. it will work out naturally and disolve just like ( another person on the topic said).
  2. Thats a great point about sound. The thing to remember in muddy conditions is first and fromost patience. In addition to this we need to remember that bass have an amazing sense of sight and smell. Therefor the best bet is to find a lure that will apeal to as many of the senses as possible. For more infromation there is a great article on the site here. I think its called and the spring rains came or something like that. It has to do with changing conditions.
  3. Haha yeah if there is ice on the line i would hold out for a week or two as well. But what we all need to remember is that in colder water the metabolism (spelling?) of the bass slows down dramatically. Therefor in order to catch these sluggish almost dorment fish we need to SLOW DOWN!!
