  1. . . . . . . . .
  2. one question, how long did it take you to make this?
  3. that looks awesome! if you are going to make any more a suggestion would be to put fins and a tail on it like hookemdowns swimbait and it would be perfect, but the paint job looks great and after the epoxy it will probally look 10 times better congratulations on making such a good looking swimbait
  4. ive looked at many of your lures and are amazed at the paint patterns, i would like to know if any of your lures are for sale? thanks
  5. looks great! especially the fins and tail!!
  6. looks great! thats a great color pattern and cant wait to see the finished product and i hope you catch some lunkers on it
  7. i would say its much closer to 5 than 2... probally around 4 to 4 1/2
  8. my biggest is somewhere around 7 pounds, caught on a shaky head that i skipped under a dock... the fish wrapped itself against one of the metal legs of the dock and when it leaped out of the water it hit the bottom of the dock, a good 3 feet above the water... thought i was going to lose the fish of a lifetime i had 8 pound test on, but i ended up getting the fish
  9. my dad does the same thing... haha one thing that i never got was why people use nets while they are bluegill and crappie fishing... i was watching linders edge today and they were using nets on 6 inch bluegills... just not necessary
  10. have you heard any hot lures to use on the sudbury river because i live in sudbury and havent fished there yet this year, might go out there tomorrow.
  11. ive been getting some bites on topwater, some homemade poppers and ive been nailing 'em on drop shots, shakey heads, flick shakes and jigs around structure.
  12. the smallie looks around 5 1/2 and the largemouth looks around 4 1/2
  13. while fishing okeechobee i caught a few gar on a zara spook, try that
  14. it depends where i fish, in some ponds that i go to all the bass are one pound or less. while where i went yesterday i caught about 15 bass and they all weighed at least 2 1/2 pounds. my biggest yesterday was around 4 pounds, but that was the best fishing i have ever experienced on that body of water. i would say the average fish for me is anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 pounds here in massachusetts. i consider anything bigger than 5 pounds a good one.
  15. i have a similar pond near me, the fish travel in "wolfpacks." what i usually throw is either a senko, tube or topwater lure like a frog, popper, or spook. i have a lot of success on these lures and have caught many bass weighing more than 3 pounds there. good luck hope you get a couple lunkers.
  16. me and my friend went fishing on a good sized pond yesterday and it was amazing. the fish were still bedding and we found a great pattern to catch them. we would stay look for the beds, stay far away and cast shakey heads to them. this was the best fishing we had ever experienced on this pond. we were just nailing 3 pounder after 3 pounder. in total we caught around 30 bass weighing more than 2.5 pounds and one nice brown trout in about 3 hours. my friend was throwing a swimbait and a 21" brown trout just nailed it. it must have jumped 4 feet in the air. although we would have rathered it be a bass, that was one of the hardest fights i have ever seen. the reason why we think this fishing was so great is because the whole time it was absolutely pouring rain. this shows that if you stick to fishing through the bad weather, you could still have some great results. cant wait to go back there, anyone else have some fishing reports/ stories from yesterday? thanks
  17. those top 2 have amazing detail and they look like they will have amazing action... hope you catch some "Big Ole PIIIIGGG'S" with them
  18. i wouldnt go as far as saying it was over 10 pounds.. looks more like a 6 ot 7
  19. wow that will be so fun! where will you guys be fishing at?

  21. this is my drop shot set up, it pretty high end so Idk if you would want to get it but... shimano stradic 2500 reel, shimano crucial 6'8" medium action rod, 8 pound yo zuri line, size #2 drop shot hooks (BPS), 1/8 oz drop shot weights (BPS) roboworms are good, bps has some good d-shot worms and so does berkley. good luck
  22. i have fished hinckleys and wequaquet with great success, also right near wequaquet is a small pond called hathaways pond, caught a couple lunkers in there. Amen to cape cod fishing.. : :
  23. thanks a lot guys and one more thing.. are the bass spawning yet on okeechobee? because that would be a dream scenario if they were, being able to sight fish for hawgs would be sick!!!
