  1. Got mine in the mail yesterday, Thanks Bobby! Can't wait to get out and catch some hawgs on it. I have never had to use a trailer hook on the Cavitron's. The bend seems to get the hook back a little farther and the gammie sticks em! These are the only buzzbaits I throw!
  2. BPS crankin stick. When they go on sale they are only like $30. They have a lot of give and flex.
  3. Fished yesterday afternoon here in NC and caught 4 fish on 10' worm c-rigged. Biggest was right at 16' So yes definately fish it. Big worms are a great summer time bait. You don't have to live in Cali or Tex to throw these baits.
  4. Its helped me to just not look at the bait while reeling. This slows down your reaction time just a second and usually by the time you realize something is up you are already hooked up.
  5. Check your local craiglist for deals. I was just looking and here is a square back for $600. http://raleigh.craigslist.org/boa/677794383.html
  6. I completely agree that even the little ones won't let go of the IKA. Here is a dink I caught the other day on lunch....
  7. Can't beat getting free stuff...
  8. Can't beat 'gils to save a day or get a kid hooked on fishing. Don't be afraid to try different color grubs. Recently I took my nephew and we couldnt get a bite on the normal colors until we kicked up a couple black crickets by the waters edge. Put on a black grub and he proceed to get bite every cast.
  9. When I lived in Cali I used to tube the harbors for bay bass and halibut all the time. It takes a little to get used to but pretty soon you are comfortable and forget about everything else. Freshwater should be easy Just wear a PFD and attach a whistle to it in case someone in a boat doesn't see you.
  10. I have heard that the bass are shallow with some on beds but very spooky and hard to get bites. I am sure the bream will be shallow, I would check the backs of the coves and grass lines but haven't tried it lately. Good luck!
  11. Mono for cranks, specifically Trilene Big Game. I like being able to buy the bigger spools of it and not spend an arm and a leg. Never had a problem with it so why change?
  12. Can't tell you any better than what Catt said. Only advice is to just keep fishing them. I think someone on here said, 99% of the time you aren't getting bit. Analyze how that feels and then when its different, SWING!
  13. I have the BPS Pro Finesse and it can throw an 1/8 oz Kastmaster a long ways on 10 lb. Never tried anything less.
  14. I'm from Apex, right on the edge of Holly Springs. Mostly fish at Harris and Jordan but have gone to Bass Lake a couple times after work lately.
  15. I won a small gift card from the first tourney and it took about 3-4 weeks to get it. You can always email them to make sure they have all your info right.
